And they grew up to be just like their parents and tell their kids "You'll understand when you have kids"

But I would say it's more just literally full circle were going thru it again ok on a real human level yeah we're all the same as teenagers, but only SINCE THIS like no kidding teenage life was NOT like this you didn't even HAVE half the thoughts these kids had 6 8 years earlier
Also everything that's happened in the middle was crazy fuucking different were just back to needing to change things as RADICALLY as these guys did I salute all ya boomers

@@h3corptempbutevadinganass I'm talking about thoughts of the future, and the ideas they have about changing the present and not being happy of their reality.. overall isn't it the same?

@@LetyparatoreI always found it odd that people that I grew up with barely thought far into the future like I did. I was very goal oriented and I've always felt like I could make big changes and discover new things, but people aren't optimistic for each other nowadays.

1966 was 55 years ago….so if she was 18 then, she would be 73, if she were 16 she would be 71. So we’re about a decade out. I wonder what her teenage self would think about the world as it is today.

I was 16 and 17 in 1966. The girl at 1:16 had it right. When you're that age, you don't think far into your future. The future is one semester to the next. There are exceptions but I wasn't one of them. And how about the girl at 1:01? She's talking about age 80, an age way out there beyond her radar like some lost planet on the very edge of our solar system. Today, assuming she's still with us, age 80 is clearly visible through her telescope, looming larger and larger as the months and years pass.

No there is a difference between boomers and gen z, boomers went out a lot partying a lot underage drinking and smoking a lot sexual activity with a lot different people and had higher body counts and hang out all the time. Gen z does not do any of that the stayed on social media everyday and never leave the house. Gen z is making better choices than the boomers did.
