As a Korean having lived for five years in Chennai, and having stayed in other metros in India, I can say Chennai is the most developed of all in many respects. The infrastructure is excellent throughout, that's one of the reasons the traffic is so smooth. And those people in the video who mistake there are less vehicles. No, in fact Chennai has the highest per capita car and two wheeler ownership in India (believe me, I work with a large Korean car company). The health care is excellent. The doctors and professionals really know and do their job well. People are so helpful and yes the city is cleaner and less polluted compared to all other Indian cities I have been to. People still have the community spirit and are conservative. Conservative-ness is NOT a bad thing. You guys have to understand the most number of foreigners visit Tamilnadu and Chennai not because it has the best tourism spots but because the hertitage and culture of India are preserved much better in that state. Becoming westernized, wearing torn jeans, and super short dress, all the time partying is not progress in my opinion! Am happy you can see a school, a park, a clinic, an art center in Chennai in every street rather than a pub, a club, and some party place! And coming from a relatively cold country, I find all of India hot. I do not find any difference between Chennai and New Delhi - in fact summers in New Delhi are hellish and winters are bad too. Mumbai and Kolkata are no different weather than Chennai! Only Bangalore can boast a pleasant climate when comparing to Chennai.

Cool video! I'm from Europe and I lived in Chennai. Before coming I heard and read about the stereotypes. My experience with Chennai has been great. The people are super friendly and open. There's a lot of variety in South Indian cuisine too. I feel people are maybe more traditional but is that a bad thing? I actually liked to see people sticking to their traditions, and I learned a lot from it. And yes, maybe there are less bars and such but that alone doesn't mean Chennai is boring. There's so much going on, while at the same time it feels small and like a community sometimes. I always felt great coming back to Chennai and I miss it a lot. I haven't had any language problems.. English worked quite well (yes I did a lot of local things too). Learned some tamil, even better, people really appreciated that. Just some of my experience as a 'westerner' in Chennai. ரொம்ப நன்றி

I am from Andhra and I love Chennai and it's culture. Why do we need to know Hindi when we have our beautiful native languages Telugu, Tamil, Kannada etc. I hope the ones coming from north will respect our languages.
Very true i Speak all four Southern Languages so y do i need an other language. But suprisingly in Hyderabad i was surprised no one spoke in telugu to me defacto all spoke Hindi. Future of southern languages at stake.
@anonymous writer Unfortunately Hindi is not the national language. You can check for yourself it is just 1 of the official languages along with english as well as 22 official languages of india. I think in CBSE they teach incorrectly that india has a national language but it is incorrect information. You can check our official languages act or Gujarat high court order ull know then.
@anonymous writer If i come to ur place i need to respect to ur culture & rules. & language is an important part of it. If southies go north they learn your language so when u come down south & intend to settle here we welcome you wholeheartedly but ask you to learn our language for the same reason u ask us to learn hindi.
@anonymous writer Unfortunately it happens all over India not just to you. Indians are best known for discrimination no doubt n i feel what u have gone through. I myself was laughed at by ur people for not knowing Hindi made fun of discriminated & got called as a Madarasi. & Still here i am fluent in speaking it. I suggest you try it when u want to settle fr long give the local language & culture a try you will start loving it here.
I lived in chennai for 6 years back in 2000s, I learned Tamil in 1 year, I would say you will enjoy TN best if you know their language, I've lived in 6 other cities in India, I would say chennai comes first if you consider many factors.

I've lived in Chennai, Bengaluru, Mumbai and Delhi for a number of years. The dude who was talking about Chennai nightlife not being as good as Bombay? Lmfao, bruh, the ONLY other place that has a better nightlife than Chennai in the entire country, is obviously Goa. The Chennai, from the early 2000's is NOT the Chennai from the 70's. Even Bengaluru's nightlife is playing catchup to Chennai's. You were probably pubcrawling somewhere in ECR or Adyar, on a saturday night and you obviously wouldn't find any because of reservations and passes being sold out. Not to mention, the house party culture is as predominant as Goa's.

Conservatives.... yes.. that’s what we still keep our culture alive unlike most of the north India doesn’t know what’s their native language and culture.... just blindly speaking Hindi alone doesn’t make you proud... Yes ... we don’t speak Hindi.... perhaps we have the oldest and prestigious language in the world why should we speak Hindi just to convince North Indians? Intelligent people don’t choose raw fruit where they already have a ripen fruit..our Tamil language is a ripen fruit ... so if you guys wants to feel comfortable learn our Tamil just to make it simple or communicate with us in English...stop forcing us to speak Hindi bcz this language which doesn’t even have a proper history... Also before preaching as “ Hindi is a national language “... plz do read the Indian constitution where Hindi mentioned as national language!!! We don’t hate Hindi or north India... we hate only forcing us to learn Hindi where as 99% of Tamil people has no interest on Hindi... Also these people are coming and spoiling our culture too...also making lot of crimes ...
You can certainly love Tamil, us North Indians do too. But loving Tamil doesn't give you the authority to degrade Hindi. I don't know if you want to accept it or not, but Hindi IS THE CONNECTING LANGUAGE OF INDIA, which is also an INDIAN language, unlike english. Spoken by most of the population and understood by every state except TN. As for criminals, one can see news in newspapers where crimes are committed by South Indians, especially TN and AP people, too. What is want to say is, crime has no region. It can happen anywhere by anyone. Good luck.
@anurag23611 : you certainly did not get the point.. I clearly mentioned “ we don’t hate Hindi but stop imposing us to Learn and speak Hindi.” It’s individuals choice to speak or not to speak Hindi...you choose Hindi as connecting language so as we choose English. Also plz do little research when Hindi is been erupted.. this is the youngest language among other in India...At least English is spoken for many centuries... And one more thing kindly refer crime senses (robbery and rape) of Tamilnadu ,then speak... as per record these mass robberies and rape conducted by North Indian people who live in Tamil Nadu...and they are very brutal too...
@@sanjeevan1818 When you say you have 'no interest in Hindi', you create a divide. You can safely say you don't have to learn Hindi, that's perfectly fine. But saying you have no interest, you are insinuating others to say they don't have interest in Tamil. Also, the oldest known language is Proto-Indo-European, which gave rise to modern day Sanskrit and Tamil. Even Sanskrit is not proved to be younger than Tamil. I consider both very beautiful and respected languages but saying subjective words like 'oldest' and 'prestigious' to either one of them is unwarranted. Both are beautiful and both are very old.
@anurag23611 : it’s not us who divide... all the North Indians who stay in Tamilnadu blame us for not speaking Hindi.. when they want to feel comfortable let them learn ‘Tamil ‘ or communicate in English.. or we don’t blame you people for not speaking ‘ Tamil ‘.... Similarly Tamil people when they stay in north India speak only Hindi and never complain about it.... Then why North Indians alone blaming Tamil people for not speaking Hindi in our mother land ? ??? Do you have any answer for that ? And of course our language is the oldest and prestigious, many linguistic researchers agreed it...then why not we have that pride about our language? Though it’s oldest we never force anyone to learn and speak Tamil....that’s the same I repeat and stop imposing us to speak Hindi...bcz 99.9% of the North Indians muttering about us not speaking Hindi...now you tell me who divides ?
@@sanjeevan1818 I am against any type of imposition, but try to understand what I'm about to say. When you know Hindi, you can converse or atleast make yourself understood in 99% of India. When you know Tamil, which one should being the beautiful language it is, you can only converse in TN. That is why, Hindi speakers have a hard time learning Tamil. Those who do, learn it out of interest, not as a necessity. Similarly, when a TN man goes to North, he only has 3 choices, converse in Hindi, in English, or have a Hindi speaking friend (to make himself understand Non english speakers). So, they learn Hindi out of necessity, not interest. It's good to be multilingual. And I have much interest in Tamil, but about the discrimination part, my friend studied in SRM Chennai, and he got beaten up several times by locals JUST BECAUSE HE WAS FROM HINDI BELT, and didn't knew Tamil. Everyday he got made fun off too. He left the college in 2nd yr due to social stress and came back to his home state. So, you can see, discrimination is pretty evident in TN too. Even I have traveled to TN many times and auto rickshaw drivers and taxi drivers give a rude look if asked something in Hindi. Now you tell me, is this necessary? Is this animosity and hatred needed?
Right! Why make being conservative a negative thing!? We are far from being narrow minded in Chennai! I live in Delhi now where everyone pretend to be "modern" and "cool" but they are some of the most judgemental and wannabe people I ve ever interacted with!
Come on we all know we love Tamil Nadu and for that sake any south Indian state for their lovely tiffins. Ah I miss that samber, idli, dosa, upma, vada, and then all there meals. 10 years of my life in TN, looking back it seems like the best thing that happened to me in this life.
I'm not from Chennai, but I like the place and it is in no way lesser to any cosmopolitan cities in Pan-India. First of, Why would this clip start with all negative and derogatory highlights & comments about Chennai? If people really don't like Chennai, why can't they get the hell out of Chennai? Few of them were irrational. The girl with black T-shirt speaks sense. One genius says people don't speak Hindi. Yes, they don't, do North Indians speak Tamil in North India? So don't expect Tamils in Tamil Nadu to speak your language. Highly idiotic! One idiot talks about Idli, yes, it's South Indian's one if the favorite foods, like whatever is yours. One Miss. World says f....g Chennai, of something in Chennai bothers her, why can't she move out of Chennai? I failed to understand the purpose of this video. Doesn't make any sense.
I'm from Cochin and been only once to Chennai. I liked the city a lot and feel that other than the heat and humidity factor (which I didn't feel much to be honest) it would be a great place to live & work in. I stayed for a week and wish I could have seen more.
I ve been to 36 countries and believe me chennai is not dirty ... the cleanest in the world is tokyo and the dirtiest city on earth is kolkatta and karachi ....and frankly south india is much better they preserve traditional vedic culture which is destroyed in the north due to muslim influence
Yoo.. Plz don't bring the religious angle.. South has a lot of Muslims too. South has maintained its originality despite accepting a lot of Muslims and Christians. May be if u get rid of ur religious prejudices, u r society will become much more mature??
Bringing religion everywhere, just north indian thing. Dude, we preserve our culture because we believe in secularism. Please keep fighting for mandir and masjid while we keep progressing because mandir and masjid propaganda by politicians won't work in south india.
Dude... Chennai is cheaper than other major cities... Why not anyone mention that... I could go to a mall and watch cinema with just 180 rupees!! That too top class !!
@@arunrajaakar what is the use of culture.,? modernization will only makes a city global level, no other people like to being conservative Go and stay in some other village to stay a barbarian conservative
i fall in love with this city and it's people , I like everything here except food ( it is not in my control ) i like conservativeness of this place , very few people are prejudgmental , bad and good people are everywhere but chennai has more good people People here think about the development rather than useless things in North. Now I understand why south is comparatively developed without mineral resource , perennial river . You people have spirit to fight for right things 👌 If I will do business I will definitely do here and hire most people from South. Learning language is not easy but still I am trying to understand tamil. I you want to understand any place and people, don't read much , hear rumour or watch video , go there , stay there , roam and observe
If you notice a church, temple, mosq, park and school everywhere That's a sign of a peaceful city People mind also not polluted This city weather is good for health, its sticky though
I like this video so much, a myth buster for sure... Although the city has grown manifold, the resilience it shows to maintain its own culture and identify is the best part I like about Chennai... And if this seems conservative for some of you, LET IT BE... What most of the others are practicing is Westernization, not modernization... Rationalization lies in how you treat others and how you behave, not in night life or getting obsessed with foreigners material culture...
I don't know how it works out in other cities or states in India. But if some problem occurs in TN, people here get united like from nowhere and that is why its really hard to bring changes in TN that affect the cultural identity. Also, I am staying in Germany now and I have that emotional feeling of missing Chennai :(
I'm from Coimbatore and once migrated to Chennai.Chennai is a good city, but the only problem is the criminal records and still hiking. Good food, culture, infrastructure, everything is available and lots and lots of entertainment. But scared to live there because large place lot of dangerous things .
One women spoke real view of Chennai ,one of safest city for women .low traffic compare than banglore. Much more better way to work fast. Dirty is one side , and other like traditional and wide fastest and growing city.one word is correct, first time i came to chennai i really feel, mesmerize about old tradition city like buildings, ways its give fascinating and conservatives....some of names look British ,chennai park. Park Town and so on.iam nearest to chennai , Vellore another conservative city in India
Im from Chennai...and I have lived in many cities across the world...my perspective of progress and development is not based on how many night hangouts and bars/clubs/pubs around...I would proudly say there is a school/clinic/hospital/pharmacy/parks/community centres for every 1km or may be less than 1km...which i consider as progress, safety, development....being conservative is not a bad thing...thats also a way of life, same like Japanese...they are number one when comes to technology n innovations....chennai is clean and safe...does it really matter whether it bores u or not...
On behalf of Chennai, 👏👏 to the last lady who spoke. Very sweet of you to talk nicely of Chennai 👌👌. We support your view fully! :-). We wish you more and more and lots and lots of cherishing memories in Chennai :-)
+Amrit Vatsa Yes, I did see that :-). She has a background of North Indian family and when North Indians hear this message through her, the message will reach them strongly and will help in definitely breaking the stereotypes :-). And she said it the sweetest way possible 👌👌, maybe because she is a Chennaite ;-) :-) :-)
As a Chennaite living in the States I can vouch for one thing. People are very honest. In Jan of this year 2024, dropped my wallet in front of a snack/savory shop. After going back home realized wallet missing. Had the intuition that someone would have found it on the street and would have handed it to the shop owner.. Had 4000 indian rupees and a bunch of credit cards. Needless to say the the shop owner returned everything intact and gave the number of the guy who found my wallet. Of course I thanked that guy! This is the same throughout the State. People are very kind and embrace and accept people of other denominations!!
@@AmritVatsa Yeah I did. I didn't specifically refer to the people in this video particularly. But I have few friends who always complain about Chennai though they live and consume the resources of it. I don't mind them boasting about their native place but don't belittle where you live.🙂
@@mrbreeze8459 You may not be but It is based on years of observing the treatment of Southerners by the Northerners, Including Celebrities, and politicians, downplaying or totally blackout the South's historical achievements, etc. Because of politically majority Hindi-speaking states, the South has no saying in mainstream politics and only dancing to the tunes of the Central govt.
While travelling in metro from Anna salai to Airport, once i was speaking with a lady from chennai. I asked her i rarely could see young boys and girls in Chennai doing ADDA in places. I have seen them mostly going and returning back from coaching centres or heading for other educational purposes. I asked that lady about this. On this, She explained that the young boys and girls upto the age of 15- 24 do immense studies without attending to any ADDA. After 25, most of them say 85% get settled in Foreign countries for further study and jobs. So you will find very less percentage boys or girls aged 15- 24 in Chennai.
The funniest part is calling Chennai a small city. A small community where people know each other 😂. I have lived in Chennai for over 25 years and I don't even know everyone who lives in my Apartment block. There are many localities where I need Google maps to navigate. Chennai is by far the largest city in India compared to it's population. The distance between Ennore Port in North Chennai and Infosys Chennai in the South is more than 80 Kms. That's 1/4 the distance between Chennai and Bangalore.
I'm Tamil myself but I lived my childhood in Andhra in Vizag which is another beautiful less known 2nd tier city rivaling Goa with its beautiful coastline and beaches. Chennai is good if you can speak Tamil. And yes, it's anti-Hindi because of cultural and political reasons. Chennai has its own charm and it grows on you. It's very different and has no feeling of a real city which can be good for some people.
thanks - I visited Araku valley in Vizag recently and made another story from there... may be you like that too? :) th-cam.com/video/1bhb8ojJ4Ew/w-d-xo.html
and that's what i hate, anit hindi. i went there and lived but people used to not respond even though they understood what i said in hindi, i love chennai in many aspects but this thing annoy hell outta me. You are against something which shouldn't exist in first place and that can lead to partition of any country, if tamil is important for you, keep speaking it and spread it but don't go anti-something. I'm not saying they should speak or learn hindi but when you understand something then acknowledge it rather than take it as demean to yourself. Hindi is not a national language nor it must be spoken by everyone but we don't have any language which is widely understandable by everyone or most of people in the country? Even North East indians don't speak hindi but they are helpful if they understand a person's language be it hindi, english or any.
@Shankaranarayan N some sensible comment and i agree with it but this is a fact that MOST people are anti hindi for no reason. I just couldn't explore chennai much just because of this same reason. I had maps but sometimes it was hard to loacte few address, specially when you are alone in that city.
@Shankaranarayan N i agree with you to some extent that it's not that much mentioned in the books but also it's a fact that not much happened in those areas when all wars were happening that's why you don't much read about that part in history but as a country we should discuss about every part of our country to make everyone feel equal if not important. Also it's a fact that north always got so much attention for all bad or good reasons and have been centre attraction, this need to be changed. About language, there is no evidence which proves tamil is older than Sanskrit, it's just verbal and still people are debating for a credit? why is it even important? as long as it's helping me to communicate, i don't care which is older or younger? and i know a lot about south India (or India as a whole for that matter) than any south indian so i wouldn't need those wiki checks

Many reviews say less traffic, the reason is its geographic nature. The city keeps expanding and no link bridge or road required to connect one part of the city with other... Only thing that was destroyed by dirty politicians is its beautiful water ways which once had a name Venice of south. 3 rivers contaminated and poluted delibrately

Yes it is and it should remain so. in the last 60 or 70 years there was not a single incident of curfew in this city ;so peaceful it is; let it remain conservative. Except perennial water problem, it is an excellent city.
I'm a Tamilian, but not even felt comfortable a single day while working in Bangalore and the same from other state guys when it comes to TamilNadu or Chennai. North Indians do think that they are the best, rich & very cultured (esp., Punjabis), it's kind of White supremacy. We don't even bother about what you think about us, this is what we are. At least you can point out us and glorify your's, like the rich WHITE countries treat the poor countries. SEEMAN is correct, TamilNadu shouldn't have joined with India after independence, we've been losing our pride & power in all means.

The Most discipline people in India are south indians that I have ever seen.. They actually respect the girls.. Even criminal cases are minimum as compare to north India..Population of women are more than men in south India & education rate is very high.. After south Indians I like north east people & Bengalis they are revolutionary in nature but jolly people as well.. Their women are the modest in terms of cultural and modernity..
Im a Tamilian ,born and living in Hyderabad. Most of my relatives are in Chennai and I do visit it atleast once a year. Every city has its positives and negatives and no city is perfect.Chennai too. Pros :1. Good Infrastructure ,transport facilities -Major Roads in the city are better compared to other cities and transport is relatively good and cheap compared to other cities(heard the metro is expensive though).Traffic is lot less compared to Blore ,Mumbai, even Hyderabad. 2.Less Pollution and peaceful (especially the suburbs) 3.Good schools and hospitals (even staff in Govt hospitals are very helpful) 4.Cheap & decent Food (variety can be found if you explore) 5.Safety for Women and gender equality in all kinds of workplaces 6.Beaches & Weekend Getaways ! This is one thing i dearly miss in Hyderabad and most love in Chennai (although the crowds at Marina and bessie can be tooo much on holidays, you can go to beaches on ECR,Mahabalipuram which are secluded and offer peace). 7.Lots of traditional cultural events happening and lots of places of worship (if you are into it) Cons : 1. Hot & Humid weather year round (you get used it though if u stay more than a month) 2.Lack of nightlife (pubs, bars & restaurants etc) if you are used to the same in other cities like Hyderabad,Mumbai 3.Municipal Drinking water is not upto mark ,even ground water in some places is colored and not good.4.Mosquitoes (every Indian city has this problem, but i found Mosquitoes prefer hot and humid places like Chennai and have a much bigger bite here :).5.Language - Can be a problem if you dont understand Tamil or English, but most people are welcoming and will help you out.I think past 2 decades there has been a massive improvement though in terms of signage in English on every street ,roads ,transportation, shops, before that (like 20 years ago) everything used to be only in Tamil and I think the stereotype of language was more pronounced.

Thanks for sharing.

So if you guys call going to the club or partying all night is modernization then we are sorry guys ,we have a huge history than any other city in India. we are very much traditional oriented people & we can teach you to have fun without pubs or clubs. But still you can find India's finest bars here . And the people here will do anything for you if you bond with them , like you might have seen our protests on TV. and rest of India has many things to learn from us .
Plz keep the culture alive ....all this pubing & clubing leave it to the other cities....its the culture that ppl from abroad appreciate.
Except for your arrogance apparently!
First they don't even have basic facilities in most part of northern India poor underdeveloped next to garbage population density illiteracy etc...inga vandhu western pathi pesitu irukan Ga ...
Why should they not be arrogant of being better than the rest ?.... If they are more educated, more cultured, more cleaner, more safer and not aping the west like the rest. We come to India to experience Indian culture Not to see north Indians copying us and saying oh! We are sooo modernized .... the whole world is following us like sheeple , there are very few places where American culture has not reached...
"Rest of India has lot of things to learn from us". That is a very bold statement to make.
South India is just one part of a country. There is no need for everything and everyone to be like southies. It's big country. Every place and culture has its own importance. Enjoy the diversity and first thing south indians need to learn " from rest of India" is acceptance and keep your arrogance aside. There is lot this country had gone through. So please stop that attitude of " We are better than you in every aspect."
Chill guys, not everyone of us wants to enjoy dosa, idli, beef or bull fight.😀
And one more thing: WE LOVE HINDI. IT'S OUR MOTHER-TOUNGE .
"REST OF INDIA DON'T CARE ABOUT SOUTH INDIAN OPINIONS ON HINDI."
You can hate us all you want. Ciao.
Thank you so much for making this video. I stay in Chennai and before that I was in Bangalore. And while in Bangalore, I never thought I would go to Chennai ever. And now I am planning to settle in Chennai. The city has so much to offer which people is not aware of. The most, I love the peace here. People here are really helpful. To give an example, once I was planning to start PG here figuring finding PG is so tough here. So when I started looking for houses to start PG, to my surprise almost 90% of the owners were ok for me to start a pg in their house. Which was a shocking thing for me, I am sure in North I would have received a straight 'NO' from those 90%.

Even Bengaluru's nightlife is playing catchup to Chennai's.
You were probably pubcrawling somewhere in ECR or Adyar, on a saturday night and you obviously wouldn't find any because of reservations and passes being sold out. Not to mention, the house party culture is as predominant as Goa's.

why you judge Chennai .it is waste conversation and concept.each and everything has unique
I clearly mentioned “ we don’t hate Hindi but stop imposing us to Learn and speak Hindi.”
It’s individuals choice to speak or not to speak Hindi...you choose Hindi as connecting language so as we choose English.
I'm from madhya pradesh but I love chennai so much. ❤

I'm from Coimbatore and once migrated to Chennai.Chennai is a good city, but the only problem is the criminal records and still hiking. Good food, culture, infrastructure, everything is available and lots and lots of entertainment. But scared to live there because large place lot of dangerous things .
In Chennai "My Your Own Business" This is absolutely Correct ,I am From Kerala and Suffering In chennai with No Friends....
Nice video. I am in the Uk now but from Chennai. Happy to hear more about Chennai!:)
Wait, chennai was shown in chennai expressss?!?!!!!!!
Will u complaint about snow in Switzerland? Exactly..
Chennai is by far the best of all.... (India as whole is awesome too) 💓
South Indians have to learn Tamil as their mother tongue in school in Singapore LOL

We wish you more and more and lots and lots of cherishing memories in Chennai :-)
just so you know, she is from Chennai (borne and brought up)! :)
+Amrit Vatsa
Yes, I did see that :-).
She has a background of North Indian family and when North Indians hear this message through her, the message will reach them strongly and will help in definitely breaking the stereotypes :-).
And she said it the sweetest way possible 👌👌, maybe because she is a Chennaite ;-) :-) :-)
India's first mall Spencer plaza
As a Chennaite living in the States I can vouch for one thing. People are very honest. In Jan of this year 2024, dropped my wallet in front of a snack/savory shop. After going back home realized wallet missing. Had the intuition that someone would have found it on the street and would have handed it to the shop owner.. Had 4000 indian rupees and a bunch of credit cards. Needless to say the the shop owner returned everything intact and gave the number of the guy who found my wallet.
Of course I thanked that guy! This is the same throughout the State. People are very kind and embrace and accept people of other denominations!!
I hate people who come to live and settle here and complain about it, then why did you come here?
You could have stayed there in your native right?
I hope you watched the whole video. Almost 50% of them were borne and brought up in Chennai - it's their city.
@@AmritVatsa Yeah I did. I didn't specifically refer to the people in this video particularly. But I have few friends who always complain about Chennai though they live and consume the resources of it. I don't mind them boasting about their native place but don't belittle where you live.🙂
It is the North Indian superiority mentality and imposing Hindi on Tamils only We do not like.
I never thought ourselves as superior idk where do you get that
@@mrbreeze8459 You may not be but It is based on years of observing the treatment of Southerners by the Northerners, Including Celebrities, and politicians, downplaying or totally blackout the South's historical achievements, etc. Because of politically majority Hindi-speaking states, the South has no saying in mainstream politics and only dancing to the tunes of the Central govt.
We need a separate country
One can expect some cleanliness in Rs 30 breakfast shop in Chennai. In Mumbai and North India..its very rare!
Why you think it as strange. This fashion is happening not just in chennai but in the whole state too.
That's 1/4 the distance between Chennai and Bangalore.
you do realize different people in Chennai 'feel' different about it, right?
@@AmritVatsa Feel different about what?
I m from jharkhand ,,,but in Chennai from 6 years,,,,,wish to live here as long as possible,,,,,I'm loving chennai
It's not anti hindi..it's anti hindi imposing..the difference is huge
The girl:Why Chennai has no party.
Same girl : Chennai is one of the safest place in India. We can't go out above 7 o'clock in Bombay
Biggest joke is chennai is small city 😂😂..
Ok no problem..
I m from Bangalore, but I like the place and it is in no way lesser to any cosmopolitan cities in Pan-India.
One idiot talks about Idli, yes, it's South Indian's one if the favourite foods, like whatever is yours. One Miss World says Stereotypes! Rest of India is partially racist towards south. Not Chennai alone. The most funniest of all is like Chennai is dirty what the heck! I failed to understand the purpose of this video. Doesn't make any sense.
Less traffic is sign of a developed city and these dumbheads saying it as if its a weakness.
I am from Calcutta, living in Chennai for last 6 years.... I love this city.... Calcutta Bombay & Madras .... Best of the British remenents .
Did u learn 2 speak tamil?

SEEMAN is correct, TamilNadu shouldn't have joined with India after independence, we've been losing our pride & power in all means.
i dont know who r you talking about..but believe me when it comes to think about tamil...i personally think they are more talented decent and simple..and you know what i can guarrantee that i have watched tamil movies more than you(offcource hindi dubbed)..and vijay is my fav..
@G11:11ne
No one cares wtf you are hindu, muslim, white ,black in delhi
Ada loosu
Bro leave it they don't understand our feelings .
7.Lots of traditional cultural events happening and lots of places of worship (if you are into it)
Cons : 1.
