Cheers, it is certainly unusual, probably the only cab-ride on TH-cam running on snow covered rails through a blizzard at night. I enjoyed it, speeding into falling snow, is strangely hypnotic. I look forward to watching more.
Thank you for watching, i hope you enjoyed it. It actually is hypnotic running in these conditions, the snow is acting as a sound dampener, taking away much of the sound from the rails. It is a totally different world in the winter.
@@FozenMoustache That's interesting, it has been a while since we last had snow in my home town on England's South Coast, it used to snow every year, now it's every 3 or 4 years. Next month I am travelling to Czechoslovakia and Austria to film trains in the snow.
@@Timsvideochannel1 I dont think i could live in anny part of the world that dont get snow in the winter. I`m shure you wil get a nice journer over there, and come back with some new and stunning materials.

Brings back some memories!! I retired 2019 from the Canadian National Railroad out of Charney Quebec Canada. Ran MANY nights in the winter just like this!! After 28 years I don't miss it anymore!!!!

Really do like this video. Great Autumnal and Halloween viewing. Good one for Christmas Eve as Santa makes his way along The Path. Dreamy. Gets you looking out and about for the things you cannot see. Gets you to focus. Makes you ponder the Universe all around us … the Universe that is 95% in the ‘dark’.
I'm glad you enjoyed the video. Yea, it is not normal to sit so close to the front window when driving, exept old ladies.. The wiper is one thing, but driving in a complete whiteout at night is even worse.
