  • Clyde Drexler came to the 1995 Houston Rockets after the All-Star Break, and as we discussed with Vernon Maxwell it cause some conflict among the members of the team. Clyde breaks that down and talks about how he tried to bring them together - and Rob reveals the team LIED to Clyde about team practice times for years because he was always late! That Rockets team looked like it had the most fun of any championship team.

Probably because they had to start every series on the road.

Psych... Looks like they still have some ill feelings in team chemistry... That's why there were three four incarnations of the Rockets franchise during Olajuwon's career. Four or five. 85-87, 88-91, 92-94, 95-96, 97-99, 00-02... Or sum like that. 88-92, 93-96, idk. When or where it all begins and ends.

Love this! I remember that Rockets team like it was yesterday..I really thought they didn’t have a shot once the playoffs started in ‘95…Well, they shocked the world by winning the Chip in an unconventional way…Respect to these two Houston legends! 👊

Horry was used to matching up with perimeter players at the time that's why he didn't want play PF intially.

Robert Horry was quite thin. He wasn’t built to play pf.
