- I found this at a local thrift store for 3 dollars and figured one day, one day I would make a video. This is the day! I had purchased the kisses last year to be ready when I did and I knew I needed to get them on video before they expired. I do find it funny that you had to cook the chocolate in another pot and then put it in the fondue Hershey Heart Fondue Pot to keep it warm. It added to the clean-up but was still fun to show you on video. Marshmallows would also be a good option for dipping in the chocolate. If the strawberry's were smaller, I could have just dipped them in, they were to big for one bite.

Yep. That should not have happened. Probably due to age and how it was made at the time. It still looks nice with the lid on. I do think using that is more fun than the stove top!

Since it's ceramic, you can use enamel model paint (Testor's works REALLY well) on the outside to fix it. Just be careful not to get it on the surfaces that will actually touch food. We fixed our cookie jar's paint that way.
