    Thanks for sharing this bucket hat video.What seam size did you use for the top & 2nd layer ?(And what seam size did you used for the "finished " seam sewing?

    Very easy although being my 1st time through the tutorial, it took me over an hour to finish since I was pausing the video so much. Question: ? Should I have sewn the bow center over the bow main piece on the seamed side? Now that it is flipped over, I see the seam of the bow center. On yours it is not as obvious using white. I used pink, and it is obvious. I think I will do it opposite for the next one. Thank you

    What type of sewing machine do you have? I'm currently looking into buying one and I'm not sure where to start!

      This is my #1 question I feel like. :) And I am going to be REAL honest. You do NOT need a fancy sewing machine with all the gadgets and buttons. You simply need ANY machine that can do a straight stitch.. which is all of them. Especially if you are a beginner, Walmart has cute basic machines for $89 - I have 2 of them that I purchased years and years ago and while I have now upgraded, they still would be perfectly capable of sewing anything I design. I teach my children to sew on the WM ones. Super beginner friendly.

    Purchased the pattern on Etsy! Does the pattern include seam allowance or do I have to cut bigger than the dotted line?

    In the process of making this. Can't wait to see it. Best tutorials ever, thank you 🙏🏼. May I ask what fabric you prefer/are using for bucket hats? 🤎

      I love to use plain old 100% cotton for these! :)

    how come you don't top stitch on both sides of the chin straps?

    • @AlohaSewingCompany
      @AlohaSewingCompany  4 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      That’s simply preference. :) it doesn’t do anything extra to help the straps, so I like to leave it simple on such a skinny strap.
