Hi Evelyn I found the answer to the question I asked you 6.28= 2pi r square. The formula for the total surface area of cylinder is SA = 2(pi)(radius squared) + 2(pi)rh, where r is the radius and h is the height.
Thank you .I made my first bucket hat .your tutorial is perfect as I have a big head. I’m 86 years old and made a lot of sewing ,patchwork etc in my life . The mesurments are so good . From France
This is without a doubt the BEST tutorial I've watched on how to get a perfect fit and make a terrific bucket hat! I've never been good at math, and your explanation was exactly what I needed! I now understand that the 6.28 number you used to divide the head size number is the double of "pi - 3.14", but I just forgot how to use math to make a circle in the correct circumference! Thank you so much!
Evelyn this/your video is really good for me and I understand every thing you said because I am a slow learner and have had a stroke last year ... which has changed all things for me. Love you.
Hi , I just wanted to say thank you. I tried other u tubes on this hat but you are the best. You explain . You make sure that we understand and you make simple. Thank you
Yes I was looking for a different measurement to accustom to my big head. Thanks for the tutorial and easily explained that I can do it now lol. Thank you!
Thank you very much for this tutorial. You made my day. I tried it today for my daughter and surprisingly it came out really well and she is so happy with the output. You explained it so well.👏👏. This is the best tutorial for bucket hat that I would recommend all.
π (pi) is a geometric constant approximately equal to 3.1416. A circle is made up of π x 3 (3.14 + 3.14 + 3.14). So, 2x is where the number 6.28 comes from.
