santa fe is my home and i adore new mexican culture with my whole being. this video really showcases the beauty of the place but only shows the north side of town which is flooded with tourism. there's a lot more going on and tbh most of the authentic new mexican families live on the southside
Living in Santa Fe for now almost 5 years I can say you captured the most prominent and interesting places! Meow Wolf is by far the coolest and most fun place to go again and again!
Hit up horsemen's haven cafe if you like green chili that makes you sweat and clears your nasal passages.. they have different levels of spicey when it comes to chilli..
Caitlin, Great video presentation and videography. I am a southwest art lover from Northern, CA. Big fan of Georgia O' Keeffe, "The Mother of American Modernism". Will be traveling to New Mexico in a few days. Santa Fe will be on our list for sure. Continued success. Great work!👍
Hi Caitlin! I am a traveler blogger who relocated to the Southwest and love creating content about it. The Christmas enchiladas caught my eye in your video as well as Meow Wolf. You should check out their locations in Denver and Vegas if you haven’t already 🤩
Rosewood Anasazi is one of the most high end hotels. Not accessible to everyone. Would be nice to learn what other nice boutique hotels there are that may be more affordable.
I've head of meow wolf because an instagramer I follow goes there and posts pictures and videos!! I want to go there! Also that hot spring type resort looks awesome. How much was it for your private tub and sauna?
Danica Sauter it is horribly expensive there and the employment rate is really bad. So unless you have a steady job that pays a lot I wouldn’t suggest it. New Mexico in general is also very unsafe with a high crime rate.
New Mexico is nice to visit but not live. Not a lot to do, very poor state all around. Crime is high unemployment is high and if you want to live off of the state that is the state for you.
I’d definitely recommend living in Albuquerque. It’s an hour away from SF. I grew up in ABQ and had friends that worked in SF. They would take the train and it’s very affordable for students.
Such a great vlog! Roswell, New Mexico shoots there and the show captures the views so beautifully! (Totally watch it btw) 😍 I wanted to visit ever since I started watching the show. I would love to go to the Balloon Fiesta one day too!
I went to Santa Fe with my boyfriend’s family earlier this year for Spring Break! I am from west Tennessee and haven’t been out west really so my favorite thing was probably just the landscape. But we did go to Meow Wolf and really enjoyed it. We also went skiing and hiking all kinds of things. Experienced all sorts of weather just within a few days. It was awesome.
Taos and Santa Fe are such cultural places here in New Mexico. This song I wrote is about jumping freight trains and features the rail runner running between Albuquerque and Santa Fe th-cam.com/video/EaANr0o18u4/w-d-xo.html
I loved seeing your video. I lived in Santa Fe for 30 yrs from 1975 to 2005 and still have many friends there. I am what you would call Old Santa Fe. Some new places your video depicted that were not there when I lived there. Suggestions...next time, I would talk about the skiing and drop dead beautiful areas around Santa Fe to go see, hike, raft, and the 13 Northern Pueblos and Native Dances..etc. Personal interviews with some of the locals & artists...I could go on for ever about this magical part of the country. Cherished my time there...part of my soul forever.
The elected officials not governing our city is creating chaos for the people visiting and people living in Santa Fe. The loud cars that take over our city day and night and the speeding cars and running red lights is an embarrassment to this city and the tax payers. There is no police presence to control any of this. In short, Santa Fe is going in the wrong direction. The officials are more interested with making the rail and art district another Disney park and not fixing problems at hand. I moved to Santa Fe over 14 years ago and love it, but the last few years of increased noise from the modified car mufflers have taken over the sound scape and is causing noise pollution that's unacceptable for most cities. My family and friends will no longer visit due to lack of sleep either in hotel rooms or at my place due to the noise. There are laws in place to curb the illegal cars but it's not being enforced. This is unfair and I don't know to approach it. I have contacted the governor's office and never received a reply, same with the mayor. Do our elected officials ever step outside to see what's going on in this city? This has been going on for a long time and there's been more than ample time to fix this.
It's neat to see so much excitement about Santa Fe from you. I wonder if I didn't live in Santa Fe if I'd be as excited about it as you. As a student all through grade school the teachers hammered all of our NM history and cultures into our heads. Our little city is amazing and so is the entire state. But the next time you visit ditch the city and head into our forests. Take a tent, sleeping bag, food and beer and just relax. It's worth the drive. Carson is my favorite. Thanks for visiting 👍
Caitlin, I love your videos. I just watched your video "My Story Of Losing My Dad | Caitlin Bea" and was inspired at how strong you were to do that. I lost my dad and understand the pain. I have taken a look at your recent videos such as this and think you are great. I would love to meet you and learn about how you make videos. Much love from England x
Nice and Creative Videos, This is really my favorite channle.:). I really glad to see your post and your world was so brilliant. 🌴🌴🌴 excellent and Much appreciated!!🌴🌴🌴 🌴🌴🌴 🌴🌴🌴 🌴🌴🌴 from: Edgewood Town Santa Fe
Wife and I will be visiting there Fall of 2021! I've only been through the Northeast corner of the New Mexico while traveling to Colorado and it was some real beautiful area. Thanks for the great video..this Texan is excited to get out there!
You did a great job capturing Santa Fe. I’m from Albuquerque so I have spent so many days in SF. Next time you should take a day or two and do some hiking outside the city too. Lots of great places are with a couple of hours drive
Oooo looks like you went to meow wolf! Santa Fe is rlly nice tbh.The last time I went it was a rlly nice experience. :) Since i got to go to meow wolf again!
HillCountryHick there is ALOT of Native American culture and New Mexican. It has its own unique culture that is specific to New Mexico. It isn’t Mexican or Spanish.
48 hours is not enough in santa fe you cant see everything.

Meow wolf! Just a high class spook house for the weathy bored! There's better places. And don't take small children or teens. If you do, do not get separated, keep your eyes on your kids at all times. Its a place for adult wierdos.
Actually it was created by the MeowWolf collective- RR Martin just funded it. Signed, someone who works at MeowWolf and has the CEO on my facebook page ^_^
