Great video, Oban. We are grateful for your help in developing the Kaboat. Your honest approach to boating is well received. The Kaboats' primary market is for those seeking a portable watercraft that can be paddled or power for inland or inshore coastal use. As we discussed. We were aware at the beginning of our collaboration that, due to your offshore fishing interests, you would reach the Kaboats' operational limits. We appreciate your honesty and look forward to working with you on our next project. The Maelstrom Team.
I will always come back to watch you’re videos puts a smile on my face seeing you showing a wonderful part of the uk with some class fish keep it up lad
Love your presentation style mate, relaxed, informative.. now if you could just send some of that water clarity up to North Yorkshire I'd really appreciate it 😅
Looe public slip is very good. it's at a massive public car park and also directly in front of the slip there is parking for cars towing trailers. I have been caught out with the tide before , the river bed completely empties . You have a very short window. If you want more than a couple of hours then launch at the beach . Hope that helps.
Nice wrasse, Good to see you back... I'm thinking of getting myself a sib, I know you have previously had an excel and hydrus, have you tried a honwave..? Which did you prefer..?
It’s hard for me to compare the brands as each boat that I’ve used was a different size and type of deck. I’d put the Excel and Honwaves in a different class to the Hydrus but with that said I had more use and happy days on the Hydrus than any other SIB.
Tailwalk SSD boatgamer, I don’t think there’s many of them in the UK which is shocking as in my eyes it’s the perfect tool for lures nearshore. Reel is Penn battle dx 3000
I’d like to go back to a large SIB and powerful outboard set up in order to reach the better fishing grounds. The Kaboat is great for nearshore but it finds its limits sooner than a SIB.

Whats the launching like at looe? Is there space to set up and park easily? Also how long roughly does the slip dry out? Cheers really enjoy the vids

So happy u bk mate first comment to woop woop
Love your videos. But sorry think you should get rid of that boat and get a wider safer sib. Looks so unsafe out there
Hi mate, what’s the exact model of Rod and reel and where is best to purchase from?
Tailwalk SSD boatgamer, I don’t think there’s many of them in the UK which is shocking as in my eyes it’s the perfect tool for lures nearshore. Reel is Penn battle dx 3000
Do you think you'll stick with the kaboat, or change it for a SIB?
He already owns a good SIB.

Still use the excel?
