Space marine however have 4 of the following that usually given to them. The most standard is Bolt Rifle which fire depending on the variants which are .95cal or 1.15cal rocket grenade launcher with explosive filler and adamantium tip for armor piercing, capable to pierce through armor. Next is Plasma Incinerator which goes same as if say, fire a super heated plasma shot at target which good against heavily armor unit or tank, other one is Melta gun which shoot a heat wave of sort from a nuclear fusion reactor in the weapon itself, capable of melting through steel and tough unit with ease. finally is volkite weapon, not many information are known about this due to it is a dark age tech but it fire a precision beam of laser than can goes through almost anything

Ngl, I think clones would be perfect conjoint with space marines. Their obedient chips where they HAVE to do orders, they could be fearless without the Jedi in the setting, inhuman to many basically a walking living droid, excellent variety of training essentially spec ops but paired up with astartes for certain tasks. Just change the clones equipment to be better suited for the clones you essentially got death korps of krieg but with a bunch of variety and addons. The possibilities are endless!

They start as normal people, and through a complex recruitment process of many recruit deaths, pain, suffering, and genetic and mental screening, on the unlikely chance you as a male pass all of it, you get put through a complex surgery and genetic augmentation process and implanted with organs called "gene seed", THEY help your growth into a Space Marine and you got a few that in some amount of time if you die or survive long enough will get removed and transplanted into another recruit so they become a Space Marine. Kind of like seeds of a plant, you get some geneseed, I think it develops in you new geneseed, and that in time by death or maturity of age gets put into a new recruit. The geneseed is basically made from some genetic material from a specific Primarch, basically demigod sons who's dna is partally the same as the Emperor's. So not a clone, but given an organ that contains some genetic bits of your Primarch and in turn the Emperor. This is a very big part of the Space Marine chapter the Black Templars, recently a new breed of Space Marines called Primaris got introduced as the new and slightly superior standard to the OG "Firstborns", and the Black Templars being such purists saw the modifications to the Primaris as an affront to the Emperor's creations, and soon slaughtered all the Primaris they were brought. Essentially "the Emperor made us this way and you taint his holy pure work" kind of thing. Yah 40K can get awesomely nuts when it comes to religious zealotry, the Templars even see the Inquasition as not even closer to knowing the EMperor's will like the Templars. Essentially "You have his seal and authority, but we his grandsons carry part of him in us, thus we are closer to him then you'll ever be."

Lasguns can punch a meter thick crater in concrete, and they're sometimes called flashlights with how ineffective they are against space marines. I think the Republic's best bet is heavy use of grenade launchers and rocket launchers.
@@nateklempner561Normally the standard laser rifle lacks that firepower, its ammunition is little and its rate too, the standard blaster rifle is usually capable of evaporating a person and a lot of metal, the clone blaster can do something better, it disintegrates half a meter of ferrocrete or well several people, although in general the laser rifle is very low in technology, it does not have processing modules, intelligent sights, computers, it is not versatile, the only advantage is that it can be charged with the sun and other energy sources, hence From then on the blaster usually takes the rest of the points.

I’d say they are guardsmen. Those guys ain’t push overs, are the most numerous and are the ones who often go on expeditions to enemy worlds or active hot zones like the clones. ARCs and commandoes are the tempestus scions and Kasrkin. Going on Fireteam missions and acting as shock troops. Actually clone commandoes and astartes fill a similar role now that I think about it. Sure they’re completely different in terms of capability but they both preform decapitation strikes and act as shock troops for the main army.
They have something called a black carapace under their skin that connects to their suit via plug in ports. This connects their power armour to their nervous system so it feels as if they’re wearing a second skin. How they get the black carapace in? Well getting flayed alive and stitched back together isn’t exactly a fun process. Space marines are also as bulky as their armour so it’s form fitting for them. They are very beefy.
Basically imagine the xenomoprhs just smarter, have ships, have a far better hivemind, have a military structure, are able to eat biomass, are capable of infiltration, use ranged weaponry, and can adapt to any situation
The clone with big armor and yellow stripes uses powered armor, or power armor, so yes, he is very strong. It is worth mentioning that the commando clone has an energy shield, a completely superior weapon, considerable genetic improvements and can match almost any advantage of the marine with technology, except strength and experience. To be fair you would have to take a Republic marine or an arc trooper, the commando needs its entire squad to win.

Comparing an astartes to a clone commando is like comparing a Tiger 2 to a M4A3E8 Sherman the Tiger 2 may be tough from the front, but if there is more than 3 Shermans, then the tiger dies.
You do know the 'easy eight' Sherman was treated the same as a regular A3 Sherman in inventory with many commanders complaining about it due to the added ground pressure. The M4A3E8 was intended as an assault tank which it never really fulfilled that role but because it was already tried & put in production they carried on making about 2600 of them. E8 was a real mixed bag but hay any tank is better then no tank. Mind as an Englishmen I always found it hilarious that USA & USSR tank doctrine was to engage tanks with tanks. British doctrine was to retreat with smoke then let artillery, motorised gun carriers, Portée's or air assets engage. Even the 17 pounder QF was intended as back up if matters didn't go as planned as found in Centurion, Challenger, firefly Sherman & the M10 Achilles. Also has the modified 77mm in the Cromwell. If not for allied air supremacy then engaging a panzer V or Vi would have been far more hassle then they already were. Personally never liked the panzer VI as why stick an 88mm Flugabwehrkanone on a tank when the 75mm Panzerabwehrkanone could take out anything the allies had on the front that was not a British Churchill or USSR IS. 7,5cm Granate 38 Hl/A, B, C were brilliant as the third C varient penetrated 100mm of armour at any distance as a hollow charge round which The British did it prior 1st of all but with grenade dischargers then later the PIAT. The most dangerous thing of the German tanks was not the armour, speed or the size of the gun but the ammunition used. Mind British 17Pounder could penetrate anything but it is using a sledge hammer rather then a scalpel. Still British inelegance won out. Fact the USA even fielded tanks or a semi-reliable gun for a civilian economy that had to rearm for a war over nigh they had not planned for is the reason they were called the ''sleeping giant''. Americans would never like to admit it but the USSR won ww2 more then any other fed & supplied on British shipping from the former empire then later USA supplies as the whole affair progressed. Sherman M4 was a Brilliant tank in 1942 but by 1944 the age was showing but to alter production would have been unrealistic for logistics across to ocean to west & east. More Panzer VI's were scuttled by their crews then ever saw combat due to mechanical issues or allied air superiority. Tanks are nice but they are merely their to support infantry. We British invented them & they are nothing more then a glorified armoured tractor with a big gun or 2. Germany had lost once they no longer had air to work in combined arms with infantry & armour.

German engineers complimented American Shermans due to the simplicity and how easy they are to maintain plus their combat maneuverability at the time. I can't remember the German tank commanders name, but he said he'd rather have 30 Shermans instead of the same amount of any German tank since the Germans tanks were over engineered, heavy, and required much more fuel and maintenance much like how every space marine requires recovery due to gene seeds and whatnot whereas clones are mass produced yet effective in battles like Cadians but better genetics and armories considering that their laser technology has more explosive power instead of penetration despite them having weak armor. I have no idea why you decided to copy and paste a master's thesis to be wrong about the point I was making but good effort.

What they told me including my mothers side Great grand uncle Wolfgang a tank commander was that the M4 Sherman was loud & high silhouette . Basically you couldn't not notice it coming. It was the opposite of German design philosophy & doctrine with Panzer Jager=armour hunter. Having a radial or multibank engine is loud & so you really have little element of surprise. Mind the Americans today even with the M1 Abrahams like to be loud with a turbine engine. Few nations use such engines mentioned in tanks for reasons the USA seem almost oblivious to mind you lot strap so many .50 cals to everything so being quiet was never likely going to happen either way. The only real advantage of the Sherman & why the British liked it was it was easy to maintain just about anything wrong with it could be fixed on the side of the road the quantity of M4 Sherman's made is a testament to the might & scale of the USA's once massive domestic civilian industry that was reinvigorated from the ww2 with British gold & later debt in lend lease. Ponder how the Clones would end up treating Helldivers who are similarly indoctrinated with a love for their authoritarian government and also hate droids (& bugs) with a genocidal passion, but are not clones and tend to die much more easily to friendly fire?
Space Marines aren't clones. They start as normal people, and through a complex recruitment process of many recruit deaths, pain, suffering, and genetic and mental screening, on the unlikely chance you as a male pass all of it, you get put through a complex surgery and genetic augmentation process and implanted with organs called "gene seed", THEY help your growth into a Space Marine and you got a few that in some amount of time if you die or survive long enough will get removed and transplanted into another recruit so they become a Space Marine. Kind of like seeds of a plant, you get some geneseed, I think it develops in you new geneseed, and that in time by death or maturity of age gets put into a new recruit. The geneseed is basically made from some genetic material from a specific Primarch, basically demigod sons who's dna is partally the same as the Emperor's. So not a clone, but given an organ that contains some genetic bits of your Primarch and in turn the Emperor. This is a very big part of the Space Marine chapter the Black Templars, recently a new breed of Space Marines called Primaris got introduced as the new and slightly superior standard to the OG "Firstborns", and the Black Templars being such purists saw the modifications to the Primaris as an affront to the Emperor's creations, and soon slaughtered all the Primaris they were brought. Essentially "the Emperor made us this way and you taint his holy pure work" kind of thing. Yah 40K can get awesomely nuts when it comes to religious zealotry, the Templars even see the Inquasition as not even closer to knowing the EMperor's will like the Templars. Essentially "You have his seal and authority, but we his grandsons carry part of him in us, thus we are closer to him then you'll ever be."
Space marines aren’t actually cloned, they’re recruited from various worlds as young boys and inducted into their chapter. But there is one way you could technically “clone” a space marine but we do not speak about it because it’s absolutely horrifying OH GOD WHY HONSU WHY WOULD YOU MAKE THE DAEMONCULABA!!

Lasguns can punch a meter thick crater in concrete, and they're sometimes called flashlights with how ineffective they are against space marines. I think the Republic's best bet is heavy use of grenade launchers and rocket launchers.

@@nateklempner561Normally the standard laser rifle lacks that firepower, its ammunition is little and its rate too, the standard blaster rifle is usually capable of evaporating a person and a lot of metal, the clone blaster can do something better, it disintegrates half a meter of ferrocrete or well several people, although in general the laser rifle is very low in technology, it does not have processing modules, intelligent sights, computers, it is not versatile, the only advantage is that it can be charged with the sun and other energy sources, hence From then on the blaster usually takes the rest of the points.

Seriously though, I believe the Clones to be between Space Marines and Guardsmen…so Kasrkin…or the Death Korps…or Tau Fire Warriors. Basically, not pushovers but (sadly) not perfect ya know? Taking into account training and weapons and vehicles of course.
I’d say they are guardsmen. Those guys ain’t push overs, are the most numerous and are the ones who often go on expeditions to enemy worlds or active hot zones like the clones. ARCs and commandoes are the tempestus scions and Kasrkin. Going on Fireteam missions and acting as shock troops.
Actually clone commandoes and astartes fill a similar role now that I think about it. Sure they’re completely different in terms of capability but they both preform decapitation strikes and act as shock troops for the main army.

No. It's 100 percent pure BEEF.
The armor is powered by the big generator strapped onto their back so it helps and enhances their speed and strength.
They have something called a black carapace under their skin that connects to their suit via plug in ports. This connects their power armour to their nervous system so it feels as if they’re wearing a second skin. How they get the black carapace in? Well getting flayed alive and stitched back together isn’t exactly a fun process.
Space marines are also as bulky as their armour so it’s form fitting for them. They are very beefy.

The clone with big armor and yellow stripes uses powered armor, or power armor, so yes, he is very strong. It is worth mentioning that the commando clone has an energy shield, a completely superior weapon, considerable genetic improvements and can match almost any advantage of the marine with technology, except strength and experience. To be fair you would have to take a Republic marine or an arc trooper, the commando needs its entire squad to win.

Comparing an astartes to a clone commando is like comparing a Tiger 2 to a M4A3E8 Sherman the Tiger 2 may be tough from the front, but if there is more than 3 Shermans, then the tiger dies.
You do know the 'easy eight' Sherman was treated the same as a regular A3 Sherman in inventory with many commanders complaining about it due to the added ground pressure.
The M4A3E8 was intended as an assault tank which it never really fulfilled that role but because it was already tried & put in production they carried on making about 2600 of them.
E8 was a real mixed bag but hay any tank is better then no tank.
Mind as an Englishmen I always found it hilarious that USA & USSR tank doctrine was to engage tanks with tanks.
British doctrine was to retreat with smoke then let artillery, motorised gun carriers, Portée's or air assets engage.
Even the 17 pounder QF was intended as back up if matters didn't go as planned as found in Centurion, Challenger, firefly Sherman & the M10 Achilles.
Also has the modified 77mm in the Cromwell.
If not for allied air supremacy then engaging a panzer V or Vi would have been far more hassle then they already were.
Personally never liked the panzer VI as why stick an 88mm Flugabwehrkanone on a tank when the 75mm Panzerabwehrkanone could take out anything the allies had on the front that was not a British Churchill or USSR IS.
7,5cm Granate 38 Hl/A, B, C were brilliant as the third C varient penetrated 100mm of armour at any distance as a hollow charge round which The British did it prior 1st of all but with grenade dischargers then later the PIAT.
The most dangerous thing of the German tanks was not the armour, speed or the size of the gun but the ammunition used.
Mind British 17Pounder could penetrate anything but it is using a sledge hammer rather then a scalpel.
Still British inelegance won out.
Fact the USA even fielded tanks or a semi-reliable gun for a civilian economy that had to rearm for a war over nigh they had not planned for is the reason they were called the ''sleeping giant''.
Americans would never like to admit it but the USSR won ww2 more then any other fed & supplied on British shipping from the former empire then later USA supplies as the whole affair progressed.
Sherman M4 was a Brilliant tank in 1942 but by 1944 the age was showing but to alter production would have been unrealistic for logistics across to ocean to west & east.
More Panzer VI's were scuttled by their crews then ever saw combat due to mechanical issues or allied air superiority.
Tanks are nice but they are merely their to support infantry.
We British invented them & they are nothing more then a glorified armoured tractor with a big gun or 2.
Germany had lost once they no longer had air to work in combined arms with infantry & armour.

German engineers complimented American Shermans due to the simplicity and how easy they are to maintain plus their combat maneuverability at the time. I can't remember the German tank commanders name, but he said he'd rather have 30 Shermans instead of the same amount of any German tank since the Germans tanks were over engineered, heavy, and required much more fuel and maintenance much like how every space marine requires recovery due to gene seeds and whatnot whereas clones are mass produced yet effective in battles like Cadians but better genetics and armories considering that their laser technology has more explosive power instead of penetration despite them having weak armor.

What they told me including my mothers side Great grand uncle Wolfgang a tank commander was that the M4 Sherman was loud & high silhouette .
Basically you couldn't not notice it coming.
It was the opposite of German design philosophy & doctrine with Panzer Jager=armour hunter.
Having a radial or multibank engine is loud & so you really have little element of surprise.
Mind the Americans today even with the M1 Abrahams like to be loud with a turbine engine.
Few nations use such engines mentioned in tanks for reasons the USA seem almost oblivious to mind you lot strap so many .50 cals to everything so being quiet was never likely going to happen either way.
The only real advantage of the Sherman & why the British liked it was it was easy to maintain just about anything wrong with it could be fixed on the side of the road
the quantity of M4 Sherman's made is a testament to the might & scale of the USA's once massive domestic civilian industry that was reinvigorated from the ww2 with British gold & later debt in lend lease.
