Cait Budchen A lot of feminists just campaign about irrelevant issues such as girl not being able to wear vests to school forgetting the big global issues faced by women like no education.
+Sam Ok so, here's the thing: Women not getting education is outrageously wrong. As a woman, I fully fully agree. And why does that happen? The people responsible for that area and society in general don't think that women deserve education; that's sexism. Women not being able to dress a certain way because it "distracts" men is also sexist, as it shows that women do not have autonomy in this society to be a person, not needing to live based on what men think and how they feel about women's actions as human beings. You probably agree that that's wrong as well. It's not as harmful as what women from the Middle East are going through but it's also not a positive thing to compare tragedies so you decide which one is worse and which one you can support. We're humans, we have empathy, we're able to feel and fight for more than one particular and specific cause. One fight does not block the other. Do you feel me? Let me know your thoughts.
Cait Budchen I agree you, that's obviously wrong in many ways. A lot of feminists (particularly Tumblr and Twitter feminists) have a very western political view in terms of equality. Look at Malala; she's powerful, independent, strong and a role model to many young girls. She campaigns about relevant issues to liberate women, not the alteration of dress-codes. It's quite sad how women who choose to wear more are looked down upon by society (including 'feminists').
I am a great admirer of Malala Yusufzai. She is great world leader of peace in the era of violence and wars. She is the greatest voice for right of education to girls. She is persuading world leaders to welcome refugees on humanitarian ground. She may become Prime Minister also.

Md Anwar what tf are you on about??? Oxford is one of the greatest collages in the world and they don't need media to be recognized since it's been recognized years ago
You have missed the whole point..oxford is one of the greatest yet made the dumbest choice to host such a hypocrite girl who talks without conscience who talks about whatever she is told to. I see no point in giving her Nobel prize for anything.. she does not qualify for that. She did not do anything for woman's movement, she was just a kid when she got shot and she did not even understand the value of education for women or did not even had the skull to recognize the importance of education and did not have the guts to go against armed forces.. She is now making all stories up when she is able to think for herself.....people have lost their minds and so did oxford.......it requires mere common sense to understand what a kid of her age, when she got shot, could understand about her life and life of other women as such. Malala: The girl who was shot for going to school By Mishal Husain BBC News when was going to school she did not know bad guys would shoot at her, if she knew the danger of being killed or even understand the risk or had the brain to assess the risk, she would never go out of the house, she just went out just like any other children.. only only she was the one who went but without understanding anything, now she talks about women empowerment and stuff like that, she did not understand these things, WHY WOULD NOBEL committee give her Nobel prize ???

I am not saying it to demean Malala in any way, she is a true source of inspiration but I find it really funny that someone gives 30+ years of his life for saving children from abuse and human trafficking and you get to share nobel with him because you got shot by the taliban.
I mean it needs a lot of courage to stand against Taliban but so does standing against human trafficking mafia, and imagine getting threatened for your life for 30 years.
I find it funny too that suddenly all of the western world ignores that guy and gives its all attention to Malala, all because Taliban is popular.

This is how true feminists should be
+Sam also Ellen's outfit is buff
This is how many feminists are.

Malala: The girl who was shot for going to school
