The fact that this is a solid FIVE MINUTES of pure degradation and manipulation is awful to see. The last one made me cry. Taylor yelling at Ellen to stop while on the verge of tears was heartbreaking. And Ellen didn't care that she made Taylor feel awful. She (Ellen) was enjoying it. She was smiling and happy while Taylor was literally crying. Taylor even said "This makes me feel so bad about myself" and that made me cry even harder. Taylor is so sweet and an angel for putting up with Ellen. Taylor didn't deserve this. Also, it made me really mad when all Ellen talks about is Taylor's love life. Taylor has had such an amazing music career and has won all sorts of awards and she has broken records and been so successful in her career but all Ellen talks about is her (Taylor's) love life. That must've made Taylor feel really bad.

I think the first few times she did it was okay. Uncomfortable but not mean. But it got to the point where it’s all she would ask Taylor and I think that Taylor just felt like Ellen didn’t really care about anything else she was there for. I strongly feel like Ellen was the reason that the media began to label her as boy crazy, and Taylor was fine playing along until she saw how much it damaged her image for no reason, so she started to get really uncomfortable with the dating questions.

Anyone notice how when all the accusation came out about Ellen last year, there were some celebs sticking up for Ellen but Taylor never did? And yet they were apparently "friends". I think it speaks volumes Taylor didn't stick up for her. They were never friends. It was all for the Ellen show. Seeing these interviews now makes me so uncomfortable. There was nothing funny about it. Especially the one with the bell.
Now that you mention it, they were very awkward on the most recent appearance for the ME!/Lover era promo too. Ellen had nothing left to say other than "you can do anything you want" and Taylor pretty much just showed a bunch of old cat videos from the latter half of the reputation era too with a strange round of Hot Hands. Taylor probably got backlash for being emotional about this too until Ellen's true personality was revealed.
The only chat show I love to watch where the guests seem so comfortable and themselves is the Graham Norton show. You can see the differences. No stupid questions, no making people feel terrible about themselves and giving them time to talk.
