Very impressed at Nova Scotia's highway network considering it doesn't have that much people. Great video!

I remember how rough this road was when I was getting to and from Halifax last Christmas

6:33 the perfect sync between the bridge and music.

You can get into Halifax by staying on the 102 until Exit 0 or continue until the highway becomes a city road.

They aught to switch to kilometre exit markers in Nova Scotia.

My wife and I moved to Halifax from Ontario last august. Compared to the 401, the 102 is a peaceful run.
Last week a few of us were doing some training and one of them was from Truro. He admitted he has never been to Halifax in his life.
So it made me wonder how much of the population hasn’t been there before?

Interesting… you’d think with Truro only being an hour or so away from Halifax they would have been at least once.

Please go back to Ontario. You’re driving our housing market up, along with foreigners. Before too long Nova Scotia is going to be as expensive to live in as Ontario.

@@markd9580 it’s already as expensive to live here as in Toronto. A one bedroom goes for $2000-$3000 depending on where it is in Toronto. Same here.
We got a rental apartment for a good price, half of what we were going to pay at that new building on Yonge Street beside the Atlantic Superstore and the NSLC.
We are happy where we are since we are with family in the building.
And no, we are not going anywhere.

@@kevinW826 a few years ago it wasn’t anywhere close to being this expensive to live here. Rent shouldn’t be anywhere close to $2000 a month here based on our wages. My kids have a pretty bleak future here in this province if it continues this way. Glad you’re finding it affordable because lots of others are now struggling.

At the beginning when you take the exit from the 104 to the 102, what is that orange pavement? It goes on for a while through Truro. I’ve never seen that anywhere else. Generally the 100 series highways in NS are not very good. Lots of potholes and worn/broken asphalt, rutted lanes, gravel shoulders just a few feet off the highway, tight interchanges, poor signage. They seem poorly designed and unmaintained.

@@ab348 I was wondering the same thing. I’m not sure. It’s probably just an older type of asphalt. I agree with you. Many of the roads I drove on there were in pretty serious disrepair. Beautiful scenery though.

@@FreewayAndrewCAN I'm certain it's old asphalt, but I don't know. It's been like that for at least ten years.
