I may be wrong but I think the chrome window frames are part of the Deluxe spec, along with bumper overrides and a heater.
That's interesting, I'd never heard of that before-do you have a link for any more information on that as I'd be really interested to read about that! 😊
I'm afraid not. But I was told that by someone at a classic car show. My deluxe is being restored by Charles Ware and they will be fitting a new chrome insert in the windscreen rubber, which is also part of the spec.

Interesting comment about having to stop because of over heating 🤔 I’m surprised Peggy overheated on a day that was not very warm 🤔 maybe worth a look at the cooling system… 👍
