I am a retired Army vet, i went to PXG in Chicago to get fitted for Irons 4-PW. The service was amazing and next level. No pressure to buy. They fitted me and printed off a sheet of what club weight and shaft they recommended, didnt even ask if I wanted to purchase them at the time. I did purchase them on the spot and loved the military discount they offered. I bought the irons and 2 hats. Mine are slightly lower lofted than other traditional clubs. My 7 iron is a 32 for example. But I hit my PXG 7 iron 200 yards so i am happy with that. My bag is a hodgepodge of clubs and I am not brand loyal. Callaway Driver, Taylormade 3 wood, Callaway 2 hybrid, PXG 4-PW gen 6 Irons, Cleveland 50 and 56 degree, and Odyssey putter.
I like PXG because of their clubs. I love PXG because of what they do for Vets.

@@TJ-nk4de Military discounts a lot of times are only for active duty military. Vets (such as myself) are many times not included. PXG does which I love as well. Just ordered a 0211 3 wood from them. I bought a 7 wood about 4 months ago and it was a game changer for me!
@@TJ-nk4de true but most don’t offer a veterans discount. PXG will give you 15% off some apparel, generally 10$ off per club and 5$ off on a dozen balls. Which might not be a huge savings but I appreciate the gesture all the same.

I was just fitted for Gen 6 irons, woods and putter. I love the clubs and agree the woods are easy to hit, confidence inspiring. The putter is better suited for me than my beloved Scotty Newport 2. The 6 iron is my favorite, sound, feel and distance. All in all great set of clubs, I don't think you can go wrong with PXG.

I've been playing a full bag of Gen4 woods and irons for over a year now. Played Pings for the previous 30 years. I loved my Pings, but these PXG sticks are incredible. Still kicking around the notion of getting the Gen6's. I'm going to get fitted in Scottsdale this coming winter and will see how they feel. Looking forward to your posts on how they play.

Love my 2021 0211 drivers, yep 2, 5 wood and 4hybrid. Not to mention, what they do for vets and how they operate, great company! Way to go Bob 💪🏻😎! Now that they’re much more affordable, I’m slowly but surely upgrading my bag and my first choice is PXG as long as it performs! Looking forward to the follow up video for on course performance!
I got Fit in February for a full bag of PXG 0211 clubs and love them, My only regret is they came out with the e0317 Cavity Backs and I would have LOVED to hit those before I made my choice of the 0211s, don't get me wrong, I love my 0211's but it would have been nice to hit the 0317 CB irons to see if I would have bought those instead as I have played CB irons ( forged and cast ) for years!
I went for a PXG irons fitting yesterday and it was a cool experience. I was getting a few more yards of distance with the Elevate shafts, but I was hitting them so much straighter with the Mitsubishi MMTs. I went in with the game plan of maybe getting the 0211 XCOR2s, but the GEN 6s were amazing and I couldn't pass them up. decided to move forward with the GEN6 XPs. I like the larger head of the XP version and more forgiveness it provides. I'm an 8 handicap but still appreciate the feel of the game improvement irons.
Parsons takes care of all first responders as well. Huge plus.
I don't have the money for the full Gen 6's, but I will get there. My irons are all 0211 along with my hybrid and fairway wood. Did sell my 0211 driver and hoped on the Gen5 when it was on sale last year for 249. And of course i have the PXG putter. Love the clubs and feel confident behind the ball. Just need to hit the range more and dial my swing in. It is not the clubs fault I play from the trees. LOL Definitely me.

Went to PXG in Seattle a couple years ago for a fitting. What a cool and fun experience that was. I went for the 0211 irons but when I tried the Gen 2 0311P ..wow. So that is what I have, the Gen2 0311 irons, the forged wedges (paid WAY too much for the wedges) and also got fit with the 0211 5 wood and Driver. I got a great price on the purchase...love my PXG stuff...can't afford new ones but I would LOVE to try the Gen 6 Driver and fairway woods...maybe I can talk my wife into it!

I bought a pxg 7 wood and I love it! Very forgiving!
I just bought a gen 5 gap wedge 49° nippon 110s shaft and I have never hit a wedge better in my life. Love the black finish ive hit about 50 balls at the range and I hit the center of the clubface 95% of the time. I can actually play short shots out of the bunker That I would usually use my 56 vokey. PXG makes Really versatile wedges I've played a full set of their irons before and I did not like them they must be getting better
I found that the sound on the PXG putters will change depending on the hosel choice. I hated the sound of the high "ting", but the same head with a different hosel sounded amazing with the muted "tock". The irons look and play great as usual, but to me the fairway woods and hybrids are the game changers in the PXG Gen6 line. They inspire confidence off the tee as well as off the deck. So easy to hit.
I have Gen 3 irons! Love them but considering buying the Gen 6 driver.
Might want to wait till Jan 11th

I agree with the sound off the putter face. It actually kind of reminds me of the good good putter that I recently got.
The Bag Is Dope
Everything I have heard the Gen 6 is money , I've never hit a PXG club , I like them and would try but the black is not all the way for me but none the less it looks great.
I'm traditional golfer , I like white golf balls and clean steel color look clubs other than wedges and drivers , woods , putters lol I will use black , copper or some color in those.
I do love a copper iron tho , they look collectable worthy.

I roll the Gen 4 driver, 3, 5, 4 hybrid and heel shafted Bat Attack. Had a set of 0311P. Feel buttery but not a fan of the turf interaction. Surprised they didn’t fit you into the new cavity back.
I play off a HCI of 8.1 and I’ve got in the Bag the Gen 5 Tour model irons 4 -PW , Gen 5 driver , 5 wood and hybrid brilliant irons I reckon probably the best out there.
Just received my 311 XP Gen 6 irons 5-GW, to replace TaylorM6. Looking forward to hitting them, the fitting experience was really good, but it can feel rushed, take your time, and go back for a second session, well worth the time. My fitter was really on top of my analytics...said to play them and then come back to tweak it if necessary.
I've had mine a week and I absolutely love them.
I got fitted for the Gen 5 driver and absolutely love it. I'm not digging the sound your putter is making though.
I just bought some 0311P gen 4 irons for a great deal >$800US. Very excited to take them out to the range
They’re just so expensive. And it’s just so much easier for me to get fit for literally any other brand out there. Unless I wanna drive to Atlanta, I guess. I’m in Huntsville, AL. I just can’t make the switch from my T-200’s. I’m hitting my 2019 T-200’s so good I’m afraid to get the 2021’s. Haha
Loving the PXG gen 6! Maybe steel shafts would give u that softer sound from the wedges. I noticed that also on mine.
I agree with you on the sounds n looks, but was hoping you could of shown a bit more of the bag n features just to top it off

PXG gen4 players irons and gen woods-1w 3w 5w, 4iron thru Gap + 60° 0311 model played Taylormade for years OG burner ti,rac lt, 2009 burner tour prefered,callaways big berthasOg, xtour also forged hogan Hogan's apex, Hogan ptx pro 2021...these are butter soft look the best and play incredible nice low ball flight.. I get compliments on the ball flight GREAT CLUBS...
Check out other PXG putters. The ‘mini gunboat’ is my fave, and it’s soft & quiet. Sounds very different than the mustang.
Other then the putter, I have a full PXG bag, and love the look and the feel of them.
Nice bag set up, look forward to seeing these on course... agree with the putter sound, hopefully its not off putting ^^ when you are out on the course greens!

Anything that doesn't end up in the bag, you can feel free to drop off at my house.🤣. I'm in 0211 because of budget considerations, except for the putter splurge on the Spitfire. Loving everything so far.

looking for your feedback after a few rounds? Played with fellow other day (younger guy) and he loved his PXG driver. I'm still working on my drive - slice - with TaylorMade M4. not ready to put down the $ for new driver yet.
PXG is outstanding in every way.....hard to discover a discouraging word.
Finally!!!! Can’t wait to see what he thinks of these. Hope he legit games them for a month so we can a real legit review.
I got the 0211 pxg driver and 0211 lightning putter. The driver sounds like a tin can and the putter has the nice soft sound of the face. I find it interesting the sounds are reversed in their higher line

I play the Black label SF i95 shaft. Love them.
I do too. I switched them out for ns pro 950s. Feel like its too stiff and wanted a smoother shaft
I have the gen 6 full bag. I love it. My putter does not make that sound

If you have a PXG Head, can you put a Ping Shaft with a Ping Shaft adapter on it? I heard they were interchangeable. Thanks!

Questions, PXG 60 why would you need a graphite shift. Also lob wedge or SW what would be the preferable bounce 10 or 12.

I've heard that the firm feel comes from the black finish but don't know if that's true.

If you don’t like your PXG irons, I would take them…. My body dimensions looks similar and I like the Steelfiber as well…

How’s the comparison with Edel? I currently hit Gen4 but I’m curious about the Edel SMS Pros?

Great review. I have played PXG 0311 P gen 2,3, and 4. Excellent sticks for sure. Worth the investment. Would never swap my Vokey sm8s for the PXG wedges nor the driver / woods for my TSR3’s.

Putting is 100% feel and practice. If you have great feel, you'll be a great putter.

I got the same putter but mine does not have the m16 shaft and it doesn’t sound like this one

I’ve never hit more pure irons. Gen 5 and beyond compare in looks, feel and performance.
PXG needs to snag you as their TH-cam rep. You and the long haired blond kid from rural Georgia. It would tough for you to give up your Titleist Fanboy heritage, but I think you could do it for the right price. 🤣

That putter sounds like the old Pings. I know a lot like it, not my vibe though. I usually have to feel the clubs myself to say, and because im not big on brand loyalty (except driver), id be open to trying them. Dunno if id spend pxg money on them though when i can get the same or better in other brands. Definitely no on the driver. Brand loyalty to Cobra unfortunately, but id be up for trying everyrhing else except driver and putter. Its just the cost

My last 2 drivers have been PXG and I think they’re great. I absolutely cannot stand the sound of the putter in this video though. I wonder if all of their putter models sound like that.

When I got my driver I thought it sounded like I was shooting cans with a gun. Now I don’t even notice the sound.

Matt, 0311 is the USMC designation for an infantry Marine. All Marines have a designation depending on what their area of expertise is.

My buddy just got fitted for gen 5 irons………$4000. And he said they are like hitting with rocks. He’s had them for almost a month and has a few rounds on them. He’s getting them switched out for p790’s. Look nice not worth the hype.
He should try them for at least 6 months

I have a buddy that plays a 80’s Ping Answer and it sounds just like that. I’m not a fan but he likes it.

To be honest you could give Mr. Short Game a boom stick and he would hit it well😂.
I’m a veteran and want to support veteran businesses but PXG has some bad customer service for after the purchase. I admit their clubs look great but they are overpriced and they don’t have some of the technology like some of the other companies. I have seen many times they will give veteran pricing just by people verbally saying their veterans without confirming. When I tried to get adjustments made on my clubs they tried to charge me and at their store they said they would have to ship them back at my cost. My local golf store has great warranty with Callaway and Ping when something goes wrong they take care of you without question or extra charges. I will never go back to PXG.
