Americans are not doing things out of pure passion anymore; everything is a side hustle. It’s like no amount of money will ever be enough, yet our population literally kills themselves by working and sitting all day to make more money. What happened to doing things for joy? It’s a shame, people too busy to think for themselves.

    • @LexJoeHome

I love this comment. Thank you. My ultimate number one goal is to lead a joyful life and help other men do the same. What the fuck is the point if there is no joy? Not joy in 20 years when I achieve some financial goal, but joy now. Today.

    • @alexconstas9634

@@LexJoeHome that’s right, brother. Life is funny how literally today any of us can die. I live by this by being joyful in the now, waking up every day stoked to do what I want to do. Not when I’m retired, not when I’ve achieved a financial goal, not when I have leather seats, etc. it’s creating purpose in life on my own terms. Avoiding what media wants me to buy and have achieved by a certain age. I def make less $ now than I’ve had in the past, however, I can smile on my deathbed knowing I’m chasing my dreams 💯

  • @ChadAV69
    @ChadAV69 2 หลายเดือนก่อน +24

You are spot on. Everything is tainted by the algorithm. Movies, music, art, books, etc. are all just tools to make money. That's why music sucks, movies suck, books suck, etc. No one takes the time to truly think about what they want to put out there, and even if they do think of something they aren't courageous enough to put something true to themselves out into the world.
I think we are getting closer to people getting off the internet and going back out into the real world. I mean when the internet first started it was a place for like minded people to get together, now the internet is just a place to get your data stolen and streamline this day's TH-cam/TikTok/Facebook slop into your mind. It's disgusting. Nothing on the internet is real, it's all just sensationalized bullshit to get clicks.

If I take the train every morning to university I don’t see human souls anymore. Everyone is plugged in with headphones or AirPods. They are all distracted from reality doomed down with dopemine flows. Just made me so depressed that not a single person looks at you anymore. A lot of times it makes people more nervous to talk to a stranger or look at someone, and they hide the anxiety with phone scrolling. Yes I am hypocritical, we all do this, but there are lengthens to how far you go with the distractions. No looks outside anymore and all the people I study with go to college with their phones and laptops. No pen or paper, and listening is a waste of time. The adhd pandemic is here…

Something I’ve done to disconnect is read classic literature. So much of our culture is based upon classic literature. Starting with the Bible, the Iliad, Divine comedy, etc. Then you have more modern stuff like Dostoyevsky, Tolstoy, etc. Then I would recommend picking up an Amor Towles book, feels very classic. Truth bro. i’m even looking into buying a study bible. I’ve been having a really deep curiousity lately to really make sense of the word of God. It’s almost like I’m thirsty for His word. That I believe is truly the source that God intended for us to live by. And yeah it’s crazy how for thousands of years the human experience has relatively stayed the same, the only things that has changed is technology, so we truly all have been plugged into the same source for millennia yet we are starting to lose it now, even the 2000s are becoming nostalgic to the younger generation because it was a time where the internet was very new (older brother core), young people feel so disconnected to everything nowadays

I recommend people to look into the monetary system and how it actually sucks money to the few that stand closes to the money printer and own assets, while the rest get inflation. Your videos made me think of Allison Armstrong. She studied men and woman’s differences mentally. woman have what’s called diffused awareness where they kinda feel everything all at once. Men on the other hand have single focus. We can think very deep if that’s what we are focusing on but if we are doing something and a woman try’s to bring up a topic we almost feel insulted like they are disturbing us lol. that’s why woman think we are shallow so often. as men we have to think about the topic they mentioned and then come back to her after we have focused and thought on it. then we will be open and have a deep conversation with the woman. So often the woman don’t want to hear it anymore because they want you to do it in the moment like she does. Allison Armstrong talks about this in detail it’s very interesting.

I practiced concentration meditation for quite some time but I fell off because it gets dry.
I've been doing tranquil wisdom insight meditation (TWIM) for two months, and its been good. It's loving-kindess meditation with concentration.
You wish yourself and others happiness while keeping a smile, and it does make you happy and content.
It just makes sense that if you want to be happy, you have to practice being happy, and share that with others as well.
I've felt it "fills my cup" and that I have enough to share with others, and people do notice it.

One way the schools program boys to be losers is by ignoring vocational training in favor of forcing everyone to do the college prep curriculum just to humiliate those who are not academically inclined. Then if and when you come to your senses and realize that what you really need is trade school you get stuck borrowing money to pay to go to a proprietary school which only caters to adults with money to spend from loans. At one time the Cleveland public schools offered free barber college but today it costs at least $10,000 to get your barber’s license by serving an 11 month apprenticeship in a giant school shop somebody’s getting rich off of since not only do they charge for haircuts but they also get paid by the apprentice barbers. And you’ve got 20 apprentices who are supervised by only two licensed barbers who check and improve the haircuts the students did.

23:50 Thor was described as being fat and a drunkard in norse mythology though , having the build of someone like brian shaw or eddie hall . And thor was a badass , you see him hit a serpent so large that he encircles the whole world with a single strike so powerfull it sends him back in time . They did the same thing with Odin where instead of making him look like Zeus they made him as an old man but still incredibly powerfull

Your thoughts about consuming pre-Internet culture resonated with my observations. Much of the content we see is a product of uncountable influences, things are superficial and not genuine. This tendency started a bit earlier than the launch of Internet, I think that the emergence of the postmodernism was the start. Now the postmodernism has perfect conditions to grow. It is indeed the cancer of our culture. The word in postmodernism loses its meaning, becomes a toy. Its evil. The excess of content is the one thing, but we are about to face the next danger, which is AI. Imagine if films, music, any kind of content could be produced adapting to the individual’s expectations. People will be locked in their fantasies. The next step, the mighty of this world would introduce is the real virtual reality, achieved by installing chips into people’s brains. At the same time they would work for them, living in artificial world, not feeling fatigue, nor anything connected to the real world. This is my ultimate pessimistic image of the future.

I'm 20 in college. In early high school I was trying hard to making the basketball team. Due to doubt, I did not give it my 100%, but I do not regret it because I learned that I could have made the team if I did give it everything I had. Regardless, when each morning my purpose was to be the absolute best I could be, at the end of my days I felt a peace and joy that I can only explain as connection to the source. I felt it during periods when I was doing everything my conscience told me, even if I didn't want to. That feeling is better than anything this world can offer us. It is invisible but at the same time so tangible and permanent, never allowing you to forget it once you have experienced it. Since I didn't make the team, my identity spiraled and I "let myself go" as I had no clear reason to live anymore; I have been this way until now, in college for music, and struggling to feel a strong sense of purpose in pursuing music, maybe because I have not been giving it my all and have been ensnared in the algorithm, or maybe because I'm not clear on exactly what my goal is with music. Elisha reminded me of the source connection / "God mind" in this video, so my plan now is to devote myself to music like I did with basketball, and see if I am able to cultivate this connection again. Thank you Elisha, for another amazing thought provoking video. I will update this comment at a later time to report back to those who are wondering how this endeavor went. Wish me luck, I think I'll need it. HT

"Nocturnal Consciousness" huh? Quite true how late scholars in analytical psychology described it as the impulsivity stemming from an unobserved shadow and escapism due to lack of individuation through facing ones fears. In other words: people who can't take accountability for themselves need parents even in old age, such as politicians, government, doctors...
If only one could raise ones eyes from the phone screen to look up at the stars and understand that dreams speak in a symbolic language from a place inside oneself, that is much broader and deeper than the consciousness.

Around 11:07....yes it is Germanic. But the symbol was not evil. It is known as the flanged thwarts. And it is essentially a symbol for Odin or Thor... a thunder cross. The symbol repeats in different cultures, but yes, it is an old Germanic symbol as well. It's not an evil symbol, but an evil group did use it, and thus, it is now equated with them. They appear all over old Germanic items. BTW "Germanic" and "Germany" are not the same thing. Germanic usually refers to the geographic area known as present-day Europe. Europe was also known as Anea at one time.

I commented on something of yours a while back about the word “I am” and how that identity could surpass that of “I am a man”, in the notion that “I am” essentially refers to us as I am “that source.” You responded with “I’m not interested in this spiritual progression. This is some modern day bs.” This phrase is designed to use our mind to connect to that idea which exists beyond words. It actually stems from Biblical times(pre-internet algorithm), and has roots in numerous ancient sources. We are “that source”, as Jesus taught, and when we connect to the deepest parts of ourselves we experience that higher connection. Technology is a product of the negative forces in our world attempting to disconnect us from this.
