My husband was a tremendous Joe Bonamassa fan . Recently he succumbed to ALS, and we had a virtual service due to the COVID stuff. We played this song, so fitting, so beautiful. Thank you for being the soundtrack to another leg of my honey's journey, Joe.
Becki, May the God's Bless & Be with you, I Feel your pain. I've been in your place. My angel was lost to Fng cancer after 40yrs. Time makes you strong.
Idk. I didn't care much for blues till I found Joe Bonamasa. He has changed my life. I get lost in a different place when I listen to him play and sing. "Mountain Time ", hooked me.
Joe !!! YOU are the best guitar player that I have ever encountered. You have sooo much soul, rhythm and power..I am amazed at how much you touch my spirit. You make me want to play at the age of 79yrs old. Good life to you!!!!!😘
I was there & glad to be with friend. Last concert [ one of so many] my life long friend and I shared together, before he passed. Loved that dude so much. This one; is for you bro.
There are many wonderful things to appreciate that you will find in a live Bonamassa experience, but one of the great things you won't find is the audience destroying his talent by singing over the tracks. The reverence paid to this song in particular is astounding. It is a testament to what a brilliant talent and amazing showman Joe really is.
I am sitting in my kitchen watching it rain and so filled with something you don’t often feel. God speaks in some mighty and unexplainable ways, does HE not??
I was there and it was even more magical than the video can convey. You could have heard a pin drop at times. A legend in the making and it's an honour to be along for the ride!
The first thing I'll do Before I met my maker I'm gonna ask around for you All of heaven's got to know The beauty of the truth I'll tap an angel on the shoulder And I'll be asking around for you I'm sure you've found a place up there Where we could all sit & talk a while Play some cards & drink black coffee How I'd love to see you smile If I get to heaven, now Oh, I'm prayin now it'll, It'll be the first thing I do I'll tap an angel on the shoulder And I'll be asking around for you I'm sure you've found a place up there Where we could all sit & talk a while Play some cards & drink black coffee How I'd love to see you smile If I get to heaven now, oh I'm prayin' now It'll, it'll be the first thing I do I'll tap an angel on the shoulder And I'll be asking around for you I'll tap an angel on the shoulder And I'll be coming home to you
The ANGELS above sent down this beautiful SOUL song to non other than JOE B. He's the only one that can sing it like they do. We'll tap you on the shoulder and around for you! Pure heavenly spirit!!!!
Nothing so simple of a glass of water, simplicity, purity, depth, touching the ropes inside the soul of any Blues lover is here!! Nothing but the Blues.
SamBoi Partridge Check out "Lazy",with Jimmy Barnes if you like Arlan Schierbaum's keyboard work.A worthy successor to the late John Lord, and a worthy cover of a Deep Purple track, and Joe drives it with his Strat.
JB TV can you go through and just click "thumbs up" on all of Joe's videos? I get watching them and get so sucked in I've watched 5 videos before I know it and didn't click on them..................................Damn
I was fortunate enough to see him in{BLOODLINE}and his trio twice in N.O.L.A. now after viewing this performance I can say he has made It to the music industry pinnacle in the sky.
Great playing AND sining. Joe is still, and always has been,a great guitarist. I feel his singing has really come into it's own. I suspect hard work . Keep it up Joe and congrats.
Love, love, love this. Joe is brilliant live. If you get the chance go. However be prepared to want to go see him live a lot after because it's is truly magical magnificent and marvellously Loud.
I love JOE'S soulful guitar SOLO riffs ,WOW ,I can feel them right down to my inner core. This one must have been released by the Angels above. And transferred to us humans by their chosen one JOE BONAMASSA . KEEP bringing us these beautiful soul mending SOUNDS!
Fabulous Joe hits another one clean out of the park & over the wall of Heaven. In my minds eye I see Jesus there with this one in his hand, big smile on His face. Thanks, Joe!
Money shot @ 9:37 - 9:54 after listening to that song and to get that video shot just put icing on that cake brother! So looking forward to March in Boise Idaho

I've always believed that the blues is the most elegant genre of music in the world. But Joe takes it to a higher level... Unattainable for the rest.
Idk. I didn't care much for blues till I found Joe Bonamasa. He has changed my life. I get lost in a different place when I listen to him play and sing. "Mountain Time ", hooked me.
Lots of talented folks can play and sing a song ... but it's a special gift when someone can make you feel it .....
Joe !!! YOU are the best guitar player that I have ever encountered. You have sooo much soul, rhythm and power..I am amazed at how much you touch my spirit. You make me want to play at the age of 79yrs old. Good life to you!!!!!😘

I started listening to him this morning for the first time, and i cant get enough .
One of the best live performances on TH-cam. It just goes to show that you don't have to play super loud to play super well. Great band all round.

This NEVER fails to make me well up no matter how many times I hear it, great player, great song.

Something about this song just speaks volumes to me. Joe looks great in red, by the way. Good color for him.
The first thing I'll do
Before I met my maker
I'm gonna ask around for you
All of heaven's got to know
The beauty of the truth
I'll tap an angel on the shoulder

How I'd love to see you smile
If I get to heaven, now
Oh, I'm prayin now it'll,
It'll be the first thing I do
I'll tap an angel on the shoulder
And I'll be asking around for you
I'm sure you've found a place up there
Where we could all sit & talk a while
Play some cards & drink black coffee
How I'd love to see you smile
If I get to heaven now, oh I'm prayin' now
