Going to try this right now. Of course smaller for my thinning old hair but I just love girly stuff like this. Well done young Lady! And I love that I can use my hair sticks to hold it in place.
I am a much older woman than you are and back in my day, we used these a lot and you had to buy them. Of course they are harder to find now since they are not as popular and long hair is not as popular especially for older women. In all my years I have never seen anybody make one. You are a very clever woman. I will definitely be making one of these and wearing my waist length hair in a bun again. Thank you so much. I love the idea that these are washable too! You gained a new subscriber today. Can't wait to see what else the clever woman comes up with.
Thank you for posting your bun maker. I love it, it is so easy to put on. I am using a scrunched to secure it. Thank you so much!!!
WOW! your video has been on my watch later list for a long time . I remembered it last week and I crocheted the bun =) Very easy! thank you so much
Thank you for the tutorial, I made one this morning and it works great! Have a nice day!
Thank you!!! I was so confused on how to make this without seeing and it was incredibly simple and quick with your instructions and you showing step by step
Wow what a great idea! However, I'm going to take your project and go a step further with it. I'm going to make donuts for my toddler niece to play with. I'll make chocolate and light brown and I can sew colored floss/yarn on it for 'sprinkles' . This toy will be easy to clean too - just toss in the washer. Gosh, thank you so much for your idea! Take care.
OMG, I'm never buying another mesh doughnut/sock bun again! What a great idea.
Great tutorial. Nice and clear. You come across a lovely, cheerful person. Thanks so much.
You are so encouraging! YT suggested this video and I am now starting this project. I never wanted to purchase a sock bun and this is a great idea to used up some of my not-so-great black powder puff yarn. Thank you so much for your creative. Yah blesses you!
