i made these years ago for my daughter and she loved them. i must give them a go again. thanks for showing us love your tutorial. its very clear. saving to my favourites!
When I was a lttle girl I had a ponytail just like this. It was my favort. I dont even know where I got it. Sadly when my ponytail finly gave out after years of use I could not find any thing like it. This is great is looks very simple. I think I will go and get me some yarn the kind you recomend and make these. My girls will love them.
Well I've got two grandsons, here's hoping! lol I think I'll make a bunch just for fun and I'm sure I'll find someone to give them to. Thanks for the vid. I got it on the first try.
Connie, thanks for the info. I stopped at Walmart and bought a couple of Peaches and Cream Yarn, hope they are the same as Cream and Sugar. Has anyone tried this yarn on these? It's all they had till I can get to JoAnns. I'm not a fan of cotton but I really like the ripples you are getting with this yarn. thanks
your video was so easy to follow, no more will i have to buy scrunchies for my hair, thank you so much. and by the way. i had no problem watching the whole video, do you have any other projects that are easy to follow
About how much yarn does one hair scrunchie take? Want to find some scraps if I can. Why is it I have every other type of yarn but none of the Sugar and Cream? Great video, very easy to follow. thanks
I found that if u want to use another yarn that u have to put 2 of the loops in each stitch. Sometimes they come out really full and loopy, but I think they are really cute.
Hi Sharon, I'm not really sure how much yardage each one takes, but I would guess if you made one in one color of the Sugar and Cream it would take about 1/2 of the skein. Sorry I couldn't be of more help.
Just want you to know I'm having problems with this video. It stops around 2:57 and I just can't get it to go further. The good news is I saw it first on all free crochet. it's such a cute idea, I just have to make some. Thank you.
@caseyandsons So sorry you can't view after the 3 minute mark. It works fine for me and I had a few friends check and it works for them as well. You could try clearing your cache on your pc and see if that helps. Thank you for the nice comment!
My great niece has super long curly hair that this would be so cute on, but my niece, (her mother ) won't let her wear anything I make for her. I'll have to make some and donate somewhere. Isn't that just a bummer??
So easy yet pretty. Made four in such a short amount of time and already gave them away. Thanks for the great video.
This video is really helpful. I made 13 already in 2 days! Thanks!

I used the Peaches and Cream yarn and it works just fine. My granddaughter, who is 3 yrs. old, will love them!

My favorite Scrunchie pattern. I do tons of potholders for gifts and this Scrunchie is perfect for using up the leftover yarn.
Such a great idea! Thanks for the tutorial, im gonna start one of these right now!!
Very beautiful.... Now I can do my ponytail myself!
Thank you so much for the video. I am going to make a bunch for my granddaughters and some for myself as well...;)

How do you keep the ends from coming out when the crunchie is pulled open. Mine does and I can't stop it.

It works better with the cotton yarns, the acrylic mixes like the red heart ones don't work very well like she said.
I think she's going under, pulling up the yarn, sc, under again, pull up and sc...that's what I saw.
