- This is my 30 Day Ice Bath Challenge. The one fear I’ve never been able to get over is my fear of the cold.
So after meeting Wim Hof and then doing a polar plunge with Yes Theory I Decided to set myself the seemingly impossible goal to stay a full 10 minutes in the ice bath by the end of 30 days! What's your greatest fear?

In countries like Norway and Sweden ice baths are a common practice in the winter. Jonna Jinton has videos on it! She's a good inspiration if you need a push. Personally I shower in cold water all year round for the most part, and New England winters can be brutal. I love it 😊 Glad you're facing your fears

As a wim hoff method practitioner for almost 5 year’s So your mindset is important don’t think that you’re doing this for yourself think of this as training for if one of your children fell in the ice you’ll never be as strong for yourself as you will be for someone else mindset is important and And relax and long exhalations he’s not doing the long exhalations is why he’s having so much trouble and it looks so hard for him relax and breathe long exhalations and your body will automatically start to heat up so the quicker you relax the quicker you get the warm

And the Canadians be like: 'Hold my maple syrup'
This is amazing. I’m too chicken to even contemplate the idea of my phobia, slugs and snails. I love all spiders and bugs etc, but slimy things make me so afraid i can’t even scream, I can’t go back away from it and I can’t walk past it. You are amazing for doing this.

Cold is painful...
I want to notice for others that the important point is to include your arms and fingers also,
because fingers suffer first and we should train their cold resistance too
Also without socks, because they lower the water circulation around your toes (another weak point)
If you don't, it will be a significant disadvantage during your cold water swimming in an ocean or a lake
the key is maintain breathe in and out in long and slow pace..i taking ice bath 15 days a month.and for the 1st time i was worst crying than him.

Hello tell me please after cold showers or ice bath on winter for 3 MTS my blood pression goes up to 150/160 and with headheaks. How long the recover takes to stabelise the temperature and the blood pressure comes to 120. Its a natural reaction isent it.

I on e stayed for 10 min in very cold water. Then day after i had a very strong pain in my knees in my joints. I almost couldnt walk for few days. I wonder why any of you guys dont have that. Have anyone experienced that?

i think if you had your arms relaxed, your eyes closed, and were breathing through your nostrils and not through your mouth, and just concentrate on your breathing, you would be able to last so much longer
