I had the joy to get 4 cans of it today from the church. It absolutely tastes great. You add it to a lentil soup, or fry it in a pan or put it on your sandwich. It is totally jummy. It is actually from the company lake side and 1 can cost about 10 bucks. so be greatful that you got what you got
Thank you for sharing but whether a can is $1 or $100, if I don't like it then it's not worth the cost. My videos are not about gratefulness - only reviews. If you want that, go to my other channel.
Drain the juice into a cup, add a little salt and Tajin. Put it in the microwave for about 30 to 45 seconds and drink it while you are cooking the rest of it To cook it, take the fat off for later use or give to the dogs. Put the pork meat in the skillet & add salt, tajin, and some diced tomatoes, corn, black beans. Heat thoroughly. This can be put on a bun eith bbq sauce & pickles. Or can be used in burritos, just add cheese & rice. It can be used over rice. It is delicious cooked. Have you ever smelled spam? Bologna? Tuna? It all stinks but you cant go by the smell sometimes.
Well, I've been a fan of spicy food all of my life, so I can certainly attest to the fact that piquant foods are more tolerable. In fact, when I lived in Indonesia I would add hot sauce to my food if the recipe wasn't enjoyable, so I whole-heartedly agree. But, then, my ratings are about the actual flavor of the product, and plenty of Americans are wimps when it comes to piquancy. ;)
Thanks for the review 🙂👍 I'm about to try frying this with onions and garlic for the first time. Never have used this canned pork, but it was given to us by my in-laws and times are really hard right now. We all gotta do what we gotta do. Update: I removed the excess fat, fried it in some olive oil, and added onion salt, chili powder, and Paprika. I fried it until it looked like carnitas, with a bit of crisp to it. It actually came out pretty good.

Tip... Rinse the meat, take as much of the fat out as you can. Add bbq sauce and serve with onions and pickles on a bun. You have a great pulled pork sandwich. 👍
I just cooked this up in oil, onions and bell peppers then sprinkled cheese on it and slapped in some corn tortillas. Definitely recommend! I also used creole seasoning to flavor the meat cuz it tasted bland coming out of the can. Also, get as much of that fat out for a healthier meal.
The last 4 digits in the 7 character code starting with the letter A is the date of manufacture. First number is month, next two are day of month, the last digit is the last digit of year. They do not put a "best by" date.
Pretty much accurate 🙁 I looked up how to read the date stamp on the top of the can - it says feb of 21, which doesnt add up - because I got my can in arizona over 3 years ago. Currently living in the east in 23 🤔 They post dating old cans??
Did the website you used indicate whether that was the date of manufacture, best by/sell by, or expiration? Generally, canned foods last 2-3 years past the date on the can, but you should always check it before adding it into the pot.
Ingredients are Pork and Salt nothing else. I pressure can my own meat and of course the fat will be at the top. If you cook pork and put it in the fridge it's going to look the same. What parts of the pig are in there is the only question!!!
Thank you for sharing that information. I have no doubt that your pork tastes better than what was in the can. I used to eat pork and I found this to be less than appealing. Indeed, which parts were they?
I have been feeding this to my dog. He absolutely adores it.
That makes sense.

I've eaten spam, bologna and tuna. True, smells can be deceiving.
Hot sauce is all you need.
Ask any veteran...he'll know

LOL! Yeah, that's my sister, too.

I understand. Please check the recommendations of other viewers and get rid of the gel/fat. Let me know how it turns out, please!

Thanks for the tip! Unfortunately, I cannot bring myself to eat pork after watching what they do to piglets. :(
The government is canning our abducted children in our government meat products

Hi, I have 2 cans of Lakeside beef with Juices, but I do not know how about the expiration. Could you help me about it? Thank you
What is stamped on the can or label?

Thanks for the tip. I no longer eat most animals and their byproducts, like eggs and milk, so please enjoy it for me.
Post comments here say it doesn't taste very good. I guess two people with these comments never had to eat sleep for dinner..
Eat sleep for dinner? What does that mean?
It means, going to bed hungry.
It's wonderful
Damn, Glenn has done it again! great review!
Um, thanks, Chad!
got a can of this from a food pantry and was scared to try it. thanks for the video lol I may or may not be eating it. 😅
If you try, please let us know what you think!
A four out of what, 4 out of 5?
😆 I use a 10 point scale for flavor.
Mix it with bbq sauce and its like pulled pork.
Thanks for the tip!
You literally pulled a piece of pork out of a steel can and blew it off.
What does that tell you about the pork? 😅
@Random Person Exactly. Thank you.
🤣🤣🤣 I saw that...."funny..."...must be a habit that he has...🤣🤣🤣
i find this stuff to be putrid
We agree!

Thanks for the tip.
Where do you get that at
I've seen it at food pantries.

Bruh, I just wanted to know if it was supposed to look the way it does.🤣
I would say yes. At least it wasn't cut up and reformed with goo (like Spam and many other brands), right? ;)
