How to Cook Easy Palabok Recipe - also called as Pancit Malabon depending which noodle size is being used & Pancit Luglug is the Kapampangan version of Pancit Palabok. The noodle toppings are ground pork, smoked fish (tinapa), chicharon, shrimps, eggs, with thick orange sauce color which is from annatto seeds. Season with fish sauce & calamansi juice. We love this version, hope you'll love it too. Bon appetit. All ingredients are optional, modify as per your liking. Take everything in moderation. "Health is Wealth".
How to Cook Easy Palabok Recipe
Ingredients:
1. Noodles | Chicharon Preparation
500 grams - Cornstarch noodles
water - enough to submerge noodles
1 cup - Chicharon | fried pork skin
2. Thickening Sauce
1/2 cup - cornstarch
1/4 cup - all purpose flour
1 cup - water
3. Garlic + Annatto Oil
1 cup - olive oil
1/2 - cup garlic
1/4 cup - Annatto| Achuete seeds
4. Shrimps Preparation
600 grams - shrimps
4 cups - water
1/2 tsp - olive oil
5. Shrimps + Tinapa Stock
3 pcs - Tinapa| smoked fish heads
* all shrimp heads and shells
6. Tinapa Flakes Preparation
3 pcs - tinapa | smoked fish
1 tsp - garlic + annatto oil
7. Saute | Palabok Sauce
3 tbsp garlic + Annatto oil
300 grams - ground pork
1 cup - shallots| onions
3 tbsp - garlic + Annatto oil
4 tbsp - patis| fish sauce
1 tsp ground pepper
1 tbsp - spicy chilis
***shrimps + tinapa stock
2 cups - water
***garlic + annatto oil, adjust as per liking
***thickening sauce
8. Cornstarch Noodles
* soaked cornstarch noodles
3 pcs - eggs
9. Toppings
***drained cornstarch noodles
* 4 tbsp - garlic + annatto oil
* 2 tbsp - fried garlic
* 1/2 cup - chicharon
* 1/4 cup - Tinapa flakes
-----------------
* palabok sauce - adjust as per liking
* ground pork from the sauce
1/4 cup - spring onions
* shrimps
* chicharon
* tinapa flakes
* fried garlic
***hard boiled eggs
8 pcs - calamansi
5 pcs - spicy chilis for garnish
Cooking Time: approximately 1 hour

Ngayon lang ako nakakita ng Palabok na nilalalagyan ng pala ng SILI‼️Malang etong kusinero nito ay di katakatakang mahilig sa maanghang dahil sa pangalan pa lang ng kanyang Pinoy Spicy Kusina alam na this na mahilig sa maanghang na pagkain. Ako din po mahilig sa maanghang pero hindi sa RECEPE na ito. 😀✌🏽

Hinuhugasan nmn ang egg bago isama sa noodles sa pagpapakulo ndi nmn nya yan ilalagay ng ndi muna hinugasan pede mo lagyan ng dishwashing un egg habang hinuhugasan at banlawan mabuti bago isama sa pagpapakulo sa noodle hehehe

Pansit Luglog means cooking the noodles by means of submerging the noodles in to boiled hot water. Palabok are the 'rekados'. Thick noodles are originally used in Pansit Malabon.. it just evolved into thin noodles like pansit bihon.
