I will never forget that moment, the first drop of Boden. This was my first concert of AMENRA, never heard of them before and when I entered the Barn, I did not know what was gonna happen. I suddenly froze, i couldn't move, purely amazed and overwhelmed. Never in my life i've felt such strong emotions during a concert. It's like they opened a part of my soul i didn't know. This band is truly a blessing and as weird as it might sound, the heaviness of the drops, the pain in his voice, it all makes me feel lighter, as if they were directly talking to the grief and darkness I hold inside.
From the bottom of my musician heart, thank you. I know where to go when i'm feeling down or mad at life, you'll always be there to bring me peace. Can't wait to see you again this saturday in Ghent !!

C'est aussi un peu l'effet que ça m'a fait lorsque je les ai découvert sur l'album MASS III (2005) . Amenra est un groupe unique, en tous points. Vous avez bien de la chance de pouvoir les (re)voir bientôt. Pour ma part j'ai hâte qu'ils fassent quelques dates en France.

Every single version of Am Kreuz is just something else.. it hurts so much.
New fan here got the blessing to see them live in Los Angeles did not check out there catalog before watching them and it was a pleasant surprise. Am kreuz was intense to watch live. He puts so much raw emotion into it it’s so hard to explain with words definitely a sight to see. Graceful to find something painfully beautiful as amenra.

Мы в целом очень грустные ребята. Если обернуться назад даже и посмотреть на наш истинный фольклор, а не новодел периода СССР (Калинки малинки и прочие радостные завывания), то невооруженным глазом видно, что мы очень любим печаль... Как говорил один дол...б - "это генетическая херня") Россия - для грустных, это факт, но и плохового в этом нет, мы видим красоту там, где дано видеть немногим, чему я рад, ведь эта красота куда прекрасней многого на свете.

А если серьезно - абсолютно согласен. Во всяком случае в ветви искусства таком, как музыка, не воспринимаю веселые песни или музыку в качестве искусства или произведения оного. Что-то внутри не даёт назвать веселое или даже нейтральное таковым. Максимум - творчество. Да, оно может нравиться, это можно слушать, но где нет печали, боли, надрыва будто нет и чего-то настоящего или даже смысла. Это не музыка, это треки. Да и трудно к мажорному прибить ярлык красивого. Качовое - да, возбуждающее - да, но красивое - вряд ли. Музыкальный спектр очень, конечно, размыт, но ты, думаю, понимаешь о чем я. Да и мерить это смысла нет. Чувствуешь, что оно, значит для тебя это оно. Но никто не мешает, как сейчас мы, иногда и порассуждать об этом.

I saw Amenra open for Neurosis 2017, Thailia Hall in Chicago. One of the most intense shows I have ever witnessed. I thought my girlfriend (at the time) and I were late. the second we crossed the threshold into the hall Amenra's set started. I was frozen, and instantly a fan.
You arrived exactly when you were meant to.
Ever since someone pointed out how few people in the audience are recording at amenra shows I can't not see it. Their shows really are something else!
and there is an intense amount of respect/silence for their more quiet parts. it's rather something special
I wasn't an AMENRA fan before the first time I saw them, but it feels like if you have a functional heart that harbors pain, you HAVE to just be still and listen.
Amenra and Wiegedood both live utterly rent-free in my head at all times - breathtaking!
Sound tech is a genius. Holy shit.

I can honestly say that this is the first time I listen to their music, and I'm 7 minutes in and it's just incredible! Wow!
This band is next level. This was my first experience with them, saw then 4 times since. Currently going through a horrible break up, losing my house that I bought and life just sucks. But listening to Amenra it just brings me a sense of relieve. It makes me feel ike someone actually feels my pain and it gives my emotions which mainly consists of anger and anger a pretty stable place. This band does to me what no other musician was ever able to do.. Thank you guys.

I wish I could express my gratitude towards every member of the band for being such a massive haven in my days off acceptance, bleakness and uncertainty. I have never had the pleasure of seeing them live. But once they are in Belgium again, I need to go.

I love Amenra so much I dont know how to express how feel when I listen to them but it feels like their music translates so many emotions that I feel in my head. It somehow keeps me alive…

Тільки я думаю що це набір рифів і нісенітниці. Ті що кажуть так звучить біль, то у вас тупий біль, який не має смаку. З музичного боку все просте і одноматнітне, дитина в першому класі музичної школи зіграє.... Одним словом бездарність.... Наслідують дум метал, який нічого не несе, рвані рифи, які не зв'язані між собою...
