I emailed TAKOMO to ask them about left hand clubs a set of irons and the 101U’s and as of today they do not have the 101U in left hand but they are coming in the future.

You'll break 90 if you stick with the i230 irons and give it some time. 170+ on a 7 iron isn't needed to get to that goal. I like the Takomo 201 irons I'm using but had to change out the shafts. After all that it didn't really save me much. I switch between the Takomo's and PXG Gen 3 P irons. Latest bag change that helped a bunch was leaving my 5 iron at home and using a 25 degree hybrid in its place. Latest course management change was to never hit more than an 8 iron out of the rough. If you can get up and down in 3 from 100 yards out then there's no need for hero shots out of the rough from 150+ yards out. I've hit the Ping i230 clubs and they felt great and super consistent. Maybe those in the power spec lofts would work for me.
Tested the ping i230s twice in the booth. Was throwing darts with em. And all basically the same distance all the time. No flyers. Probably gonna get the i230s in 6,7,8,9,W and then the ping i525s in 3,4,5. With KBS 120 Shafts
@@BKGolfs thanks man. how are the 3,4,5 irons in the i230s? I'm reluctant to get them and go with the i525s instead in 3,4,5 because I feel like the long irons might be too small and too difficult to hit in the i230s. How are the 3,4,5 in the 230s?
@@mantanasauce I personally love the 4&5 irons i don't have a 3 iron. but it's more of a mental thing than anything. If you just put a good smooth swing on it, the club is going to do the work and go the distance you need, I notice when I try to kill the ball, I have a harder time because it's less forgiving than some other clubs, so If you can trust the club. They're great

I got the 101’s 3 weeks ago but got the KBS tour lite shafts. I am getting the ball up in the air with ease. Must def be the heavier X stiff shafts.
I totally think it is, but I was too nervous so I got the pings haha. I do want to get the new driving iron that is coming out
