Those are over price Walmart goods, but I don't blame them for setting the price so high. The Port of Liberia isn't cheap.
Over priced and Liberians should make their own furniture. This furniture is poor quality. Buy from Liberians.
This store is very affordable… ppl from diaspora love to call things for sale in Africa expensive…The reason is that most ppl don’t understand the true cost of item. To ship a container to Liberia will cost you atleast 7k… CMG or Maersk!!! Plus clearing a container in Liberia will cause you 5k if you lucky!!! That’s 12k already!! If you don’t own the building your store is located you will pay rent, plus light bill, security and employee pay!!!

The dining sets by comparison have a much lower mark up than if they were sold in North America. The 10 seater table set for $2000 would be $3800-$4000 here. But that table does not accommodate 10 chairs....maybe 8.
Bur there were some sets that were the same as here.
Comparing the price to Freetown and other African countries I work live in this is far reasonably. The living room chairs are lovely. My set cost me far the price at the mall.

Thanks for the awareness.Prices are high due to high cost of clearing goods from the port.Most of us Liberians that doing business via the port are faced with high clearance costs.Those are factors to also consider and also price for lease of the stores.Some businesses might be over priced,but not all.
Brother Johnnie do you think some brothers can get wood exotic and take a shop amd open up amd show them designs amd let them build it all up and get material and cover seats I use to work for Ezgo gold I ise to cover seats and build those golf carts from the frame up and my Nigerian brothers that still work there will work you down and they make their money we need to start small small and go from there bro

I think the prices were compromised. When the store first opened, a girl did a vid and those things were fraction the amounts u seeing now. I think those Indian and Lebanese guys that own furniture stores went to them and told them that Liberians would only value things if they're expensive.

The furniture is typical low quality Chinese furniture. It is overpriced.
I rather shop from my own Liberians to promote and support our people. Liberians hardly support their own
1. If you go to other countries, you can't even own a table there...but we are busy selling our lands to foreigners.
2. The Liberian government will rather hire foreigners to sit over their own people
