ha ha ha lovely video bro.. and my teacher told me ki diminished chords zadater blues songs me hota hai. i used to search chords according to the scales but some time harmonics makes confusion. dim is one of the most used chord in old songs by composers like R.D burman sahab. i also like to use dim in my songs.. by the way lovely video lesson keep going.

You said that the chord consists of Root + minor 3rd + minor 3rd + minor 3rd, so shouldn't Gdim7 be G - Bb - Db - Fb (enharmonically equivalent to E) instead of straight up G - Bb - C# - E?

He actually played the G full diminished chord which is ( root, b3 , b5, bb7)

@@themusicmovement1660 It actually is a thing. An A augmented chord is a chord with a sharp fifth. In this case E is the fifth so would be A - C# - E#
It sounds like F but it's notated as an F
