As you Know we Watched Overlord Episode 1 Its Been a while since then so i thought ill react to the openings 1. To see if they are any good and 2. To see if you guys wanted me to finish off season 1 at least... Let me know in the Comments

Overlord is so good and only gets better every season.... it's so unique in that the Mc is technically a villain but we see him through his eyes so he also does alot of good while doing bad. Very nuanced and the world building is spectacular.
Yeah, one of the series where the protagonist is the villain
not only that, the character designs are very varied for each one of em, especially Ainz and his subordinates.
it's funny he is only doing bad things because of Nazarick iirc there is another story where ainz goes outside of Nazarick on the very last moment to throw some fireworks and when they are transported he ends becoming something like a hero of good since he went to a total different place

Yo Don, you have to continue Overlord - It is an amazing story, just don't think too much about the occasional fan service
Also, you need to react to the endings - While the openings are hype and absolute boppers, the endings are something else man.

OP 4 is one of the best anime openings I know of, also the version you watched had the visuals messed up. Watch the actual Crunchyroll version the music lines up with the visuals much better.

The last two characters to answer your question in GO Cry GO were Pestonya Shortcake Wanko followed by Eclair Eclair. Also the “blond haired girl” w/ the sadist smile in OP 4 was princess renner & at 7:57 that character is Pandora’s Actor. Of course i am avoiding spoilers just clarifying names. I’m a massive overlord fan & am glad you’re watching bc it’s a amazing series w/ alot of world building & character development all intricately woven into the plot. I highly recommend watching all the way through & grabbing the LN’s.
light novels were amazing when you reread them you always pick up on something new its incredible

I've adored the songs for OP 1 and 3 for years. OP 2 is pretty cool, but, I just haven't felt like DLing it. OP 4 wasn't my bag before, but the more reactions I watch, the more I enjoy it.

s1ep1 -> introduction to main character
s1ep2 -> introducion to side characters -> The Guardians of Nazarick
s1ep3 -> introduction to (un)known world -> let's explore!
s1.. -> we're exploring!
s2 -> don't want to spoil,
s3 -> as above...
s4 -> as above...
Let's just say - Momonga is exploring the world to find any other players that could be stuck in video game... and as he's exploring... he is also testing his subjects -> are they capable of learning new things, improwise, adapt etc. some things... don't go the way Momonga planned... that results in some political distrubances in the world... which leads to conflicts, surprising alliances and much much more...
As people pointed out -> whole anime is more about planning, ploting and executing plots and plans... with some battles on the way. Ofc, there're some power showdowns, uses of powerfull artifacts, magical incantations etc.. Things get extreme when Momonga does them... (being max level character... well he's like an endgame boss from a video game compared to every other character...)

Overlord is one of the few anime with consistently god tier OPs & EDs.
My favorite is op 3 and op 4 I used to think it was whatever but that has creeped up to #2 opening in the series for me. Ngl if anyone has it as their #1 I can't even be mad that yodeling with that beat goes hard

The world building you mean
The guy at 7:57 is Pandora's Actor. A doppelganger (can transform into a copy of someone and use their abilities) and is the only Guardian made by Ainz (our skelly MC). He guards the Treasury of Nazarick (Their guide base that was sent over was known as the Great Tomb of Nazarick)

Don Townsend It's a great anime.. There are fightings just Ep1 and Ep 2 is Basically the MC trying to figure out what happened.. And to make sure the Guardians are still loyal now that they are "Real".. If you stopped at Ep 2 then you have not gotten to the fighting yet which starts at Ep 3..
Don Townsend Suggestions you should check out the openings for Log Horizon (3 seasons).. Goblin Slayer (1 season so far).. Maybe the openings for The Mobile Suit Gundam series (There are alot of them)..

People are complaining about how season 4 was boring but don't know that season 5 is gonna be fire. People just need to be patient😂. Just letting you guys know that they are complaining about how boring the entire season was not the OP itself. The OP is good as hell!
Just FYI, 4K vidoes of openings are just upscaled artificially. All anime is drawn in... 720p resolution I think? But released in 1080p and all that. Anime has never been 4K as far as I know. 4K videos tend to be 60fps too, and the same thing applies to that. Anime is usually animated in 24fps, so 60fps versions are artificially made "smoother". I'd recommend doing your best to avoid 4K and/or 60fps opening videos. If you can.

For future videos, i recommend you don't watch 60 fps openings and such because compared to the original it looks kind of jarring and really fast paced.

Overlord is worth it 100%. Just ignore the random bits of fanservice. The story and worldbuilding is crazy good. Its also a breath of fresh air to have the "villian" be the story's protagonist. Makes for some interesting storytelling.
Its not a game. He was in a game, now he is not. The world, has game like mechanics but the world is real.
