Guyver really does have an ill fated past of unfinished business & cancellations. The original OVA series was canned with just 12 episodes and then years later you get this version and it ends right when it's about to get really interesting. Even the Manga's future is up in the air now, such a shame.
Berserk, HXH, Vagabond, and Guyver the holy quadrinity of incomplete mangas... (though in all seriousness, i hope the author of guyver doesn't turn out like miura of beserk...)
This is probably the final time we ever see Guyver in action, anime or manga. Its been 9 years since the last manga issue was released and apparently one of the creators fell fatally ill and since then, the other one didnt know where to go with the series so I believe he left it alone
Definitely top 3 anime of all time for me. From what I’ve read of the manga post anime series, I would arguably place this as the best manga/anime of all time (Naruto and Attack on Titan vying for top position).
sniff sniff...shame to leave it at this but...little more needs to be said. With the Gigantic Unit I doubt even the leader of the Zoalords can defeat him...still though it would have been epic to watch him battle them all or something...but still a wonderfully heartwarming ending to such a serious and dramatic series.
I guess it would've been difficult to continue the series without diverting from the manga... since the manga hasn't had a new chapter in a while now. O_o Hopefully the Guyver will eventually conclude!
The Guyver is by FAR my favorite anime series EVER. watched it since i was little, got all the original anime vid's on VHS, including the 2 VHS movies back in the 90's. and now i got all the new episodes, all 7 volumes!! but yeah i have to agree with everyone that it's a total TRAGEDY that it has to end like this. but i do believe that they will make more episodes as soon as the manga is finished. but the manga is FUCKING LONG!!! i mean like 150+ episodes!!!! so it'll take FOREVER!
@skeaneable Actually in the manga series which the anime is based upon they've introduced a female guyver to replace the long dead guyver 2 lisker. The interesting part is that her design is based upon the female version of lisker who originally appeared in the Guyver out of control OVA . (it was released in 1987, though don't quote me on that)

yeah that is a good opinion but also the thing that confuses me is the gigantic is much taller and for it to cover sho, how is it he fits in the suit? that questioned me a lot. but hey i guess something good did come out of cronos. lol but what i want to see the most in the series is the rest of the zoalord forms, that makes me so curious to what they look like, i know so far 6, that includes guyot and imarikum (murikami)
nooooo, Sho turns into Guyver, and is inside guyver, then Guyver basically goes inside a bigger suit the same manner sho does think of it as a Guyver's Guyver. He wants to be the ruler to make justice and make sure no one is a villian and cronos etc, stupid idea but it's like "I can do better" type of thing. Sho is tooo naive. thats the problem after all this you would expect him 2 get a bit more aggresive period in combat and towards the situation but yeah. But i do know what you mean lol
Just an observation: Sho was vaporized when he died right? Twice already actually, then his regenerated state would no longer be circumcised, assuming he was circumcised at all!
Because Cronos saves human fodder only for experimentation and later processing into battle forms to wage war on Creators. It exists solely for Alchanfel's revenge and humans are means to design his weapons.

The Gigantic GUyver is on top of the guyver if you look again you will see. The gigantic Armor i would szay goes back to cyber space in the cocooon thing, then guyver is back to normal. yeah i wanna see the rest of them. BTW funny though how they cleaned the air basically raised the economy. ETC. lol Guyver 2 should have made it a bit more far. Sucks that agitio is like... fuck i am of no use ... lol

No, that was inacurate. Aptom survived and went on to attack the remaining members of Team Five; this series is actually far more faithful to the manga, with only the additions of scenes with Sho's father, the subtraction of the Bio-Booster clone, and the extended fights with Guyver II being different.

atleast the redoing of the animated series finished all the fights that where started unlike the original which stopped when Sho was first fighting Aptum. In that fight they just started to fight and the series ended.

nothing is longer than AKIRA's Manga which is 2,196 pages. I like original 90's vhs ones more but this one is really good.
