A few people have reported issues with their pre-order of the Durgod Fusion keyboard. I sent an email to my contact at Durgod regarding their lack of updates, will update here if I hear back from them.
@Ed Huang Geek's GK61 has hotswap optical sockets on a $60 production board. It's got its flaws (limited to optical switches, and stabs are not good), but it would be cool to see others follow that trend.
my dad told me to buy that for his birthday when it has a 104 layout. He loved the aesthetic (he currently likes to borrow the taurus k310 from me). The usb dongle seems really useful for portability.
That keyboard is a thing of beauty. Love the retro theme. Wonder if it would be good with the xtrfy retro mouse ... Typing on it right now and it's quite literally the first thing I'm writing with it. I really like the sound of it. I'm still not used to the layout and the keycap profile and also coming from kailh burnt orange, those mx browns feels ... let's say really light and not that tactile ... I wish it would be hot swap and I would probably put in some kailh box clicky switches. I'm not good at soldering and I don't want to ruin it while trying. Well I'm still glad I got it and it's definitely some unique looking keyboard. Hope someday durgod would offer other brand of switches or hot swap keyboard.
Everything is good except the switches. They need to either change the switch, or add a hotswap option. MX browns are trash, no hate to anyone who uses them, just my preference
They should add an option without switches. And also change the keycap font to something more retro, especially the Win-key icon. Otherwise a very nice keeb.

I get sent keyboards and review them, I have no clue on whether they will deliver on their words or not afterward and cannot review this aspect. Has an ISO or German version ever been released? Can't find it anywhere. If not: Are they using standard keycaps that can be bought elsewhere in these colors for making a custom layout?

Mine broke after holding fn+e for too long. It unpaired with the wireless dongle and is now in an endless pairing mode. There is nothing to fix that, at least not that im aware of. I send an email to their support, but no response... No more durgod products for me
First off, great video. I'm really surprised that you don't have more subscribers. You've actually helped me in making an earlier keyboard purchase decision, so keep up the great work. Now, for this particular keyboard; I've been aware of it for a little while now, and like yourself, I really think some LED back lighting should have been done. RGB may be unrealistic, but I agree that white would have been a solid choice. Some of use use our keyboards in dimly lit situations. I had also originally thought that the case on this was aluminum, so it's a bit disappointing that it's just plastic, but I understand the choice, considering the wireless connectivity would function a lot more poorly if having to go through an aluminum case. Not a deal breaker. I'm also disappointed with the Cherry-only switch options. Seeing that Durgod has offered Gaterons in their other keyboards, I'm baffled as to why it wasn't an option with this one. My own preference would have been to go with Gaterons over the Cherry. I think it just adds an unnecessary expense. Durgod has posted that the 'early pricing' for this keyboard will be $99, if you sign up on the Kickstarter page. Just an FYI for those that really want this. Overall, I think this IS a pretty decent keyboard, for those looking for a 65% layout. Definitely worth a $99 price point. Thanks again for the sneak peek.
Have every 2.4Ghz Keyboard the same latency? I know that the IQUNIX ZX75 has 1ms on 2.4Ghz, which is perfectly fine and even better than 99% gaming keyboard
@@minimalistik they are trying to lure people in with a 'limited' offer of $99, which is supposedly a 50% discount. $200 for this thing is way overpriced IMO, I think $99 is pushing it a little, to be honest...
Everyone in Indiegogo is complaining about the lack of updates from Durgod. They are planning to request for chargebacks from banks as well. I am planning to do the same. A total scam after the heavy marketing in TH-cam. Note to self and everyone: kickstarters by chinese companies, skip.

I really dont like this one. Durgod is great, dont get me wrong, but this is just a clear case of trying WAY too hard to look retro. It doesnt even do a good job of that in my opinion. It just doesnt make sense why they would make this when they could do something that would make much more sense, and make them more money...

Durgod really needs to start thinking about hot swap options. It would be a nice adition to this fusion series and the hades.

To be fair, it might be the upgraded cherry switches, and one reviewer said they felt better (browns)
These weren't too bad from my point of view, but agreed that it would've been nice with a hotswap option

I would love this mech but with a hotswap board and a barebones option. No way I'm gonna use cherry switches if I have the choice.

It's weird that they have switches on the wrong orientation to use Cherry profile keycaps.

Haven't tried any of these lately, both should be decent! With the keychron, you likely need a wrist rest though
