Yes!!! I absolutely LOVE that this was built with a manual transmission! Best part of the whole build! But, oh, that wood, leather, chrome and dark green.....just beautiful!
My nephew is currently doing a frame off restoration of my ‘52 five window I drove in high school. You’re definitely our muse! Thank you for the amazing ideas, craftsmanship, and production! Definitely have Icon TR envy!
Unfortunately I would have to ask how much which means I can't afford it. What a truly beautiful truck. This is what personal transportation should be. Thanks for sharing.
This is very good content and highlights everything I want to know. Also, thank you for not overlaying some crap music that is way too loud when you aren’t talking and causing me to turn the volume up and down!
A beautiful truck. Love the gift idea. It's shinier than many have been with the gloss paint and chrome. Great combination of old and new. Video format is awesome, I appreciate you taking the time to show us the trucks regardless of how it's done.
I always love your videos, but this format is outstanding. Thank you! What an amazing truck. Big kudos to you. I can only imagine the smiles coming from the family. If I may - one suggestion on the video production - normalize your various audio tracks. Thanks again!
Number 24. Does this mean there are only 24 lucky people in the world? Envy. I had a '48 3/4 ton Thriftmaster with the optional positive crankcase ventilation. What a dog to drive, but so good to look at. Did I mention the word envy?
WE HAD A 48 1/2 TON 3100 216 W / 4 - SPEED , WE BOUGHT IT IN 1973 FOR 250 .OO RUNNING FROM MY DADS COUSIN , AROUND TOWN IS WAS ZIPPY , IT NEEDED A RING AND VALVE JOB RAN VERY SMOOTH , BUT SMOKED ON THE FREEWAY AT 55 M.P.H. THE ONLY CHEVY TRUCK THAT I HAVE SEEN THAT HAD A COMPLETE CHROME HORN RING FOR A 3100 SERIES !! IF YOU HAVE A PLACE TO START THE WALNUT SHELL - BLASTING THEY ARE WORTH EVERY PENNY AND EFFORT TO RESTORE !!!
I learned to drive in a 1951 ton and half Chevy. Dad set up barrels in a field and I had to parallel park that beast! Loved that truck, even took a date to the drive in movie in it
Wow absolutely beautiful!..My uncle had a truck similar many years ago (similar in body style 🙂) he bought it new, have to smile thinking of him taking this one for a drive...thanks for sharing your awesome vehicles.
Very nice work as always Jonathan.. I love the sound of the doors as they open and close.. The sound of quality.. Do you still have your Rolls Royce crew together? I want you to build me a Derelict Rolls... Take care my friend and God Bless....
I have found that in small cabins I put one channel of the stereo in the center between the 2 passengers And then the other channel outbored on the doors or whatever and it works Very well
I have been watching and enjoying ( and admiring ) your videos for a long time. I have owned old trucks since the 60's ( nothing like an Icon, of course). But, have you considered a cross bed tool box in back? It's very handy to have a place to put some stuff in these old trucks. I am sure you could create an amazing one!
Another beautiful quality build from ICON! Question - have you considered using sections of rigid tubing & short sections of flexible duct tube for the HVAC? I see the flex ducting under the dash, and as a Product Designer, it seems like an area that could be dressed up.
It's just fabulous. But I still think the cargo box should be elevated to the height of the beltline just below the windows. To my eye that would seem more proportional. And I would do a diesel engine, 4- or 6-cyl., with automatic.
😳 Oh my God. Did I REALLY just do that, lol?? 🤦♂️😂 When I saw the reflection of someone walking in the exterior paint while you were showing us the fabulous seat recline hardware you were so proud of (9:50), I just actually looked to my right to see who it was walking behind me in YOUR video. I am SUCH a moron. 🙄🙄🙄 🤣
Gorgeous! The green paint, the brown leather, and that wood! What a birthday present! ❤ Thank you for sharing your incredible work.
AGREEED !!!! 1000% The classy vibe is amazing, so basically cool!!!
Yes!!! I absolutely LOVE that this was built with a manual transmission! Best part of the whole build! But, oh, that wood, leather, chrome and dark green.....just beautiful!
I love the combination of vintage style and modern drive train , brakes.
Very cool!

We call that a stake-side. Pencil mark on it in the last shot is the only flaw. Beautiful work.
Love the new format vs the old. We see a lot more detail and your narrative helps identify how amazing the design choices are

Godspeed lil brother, absolutely love your art

Yes, only 24 of these delivered thus far!

Beautiful! Love the tailgate, very subtle. That wood is gorgeous!
Absolutely beautiful, like everyone of the other TRs you build! Thank you for sharing. I love these old Chevy trucks.
I love it. Now do one with six on the tree so I can have a true 3 across bench.
Beautiful rendition! No matter the format, I truly enjoy your videos!
Love LOVE This truck.. TR'S RULE.. !!!
All I can say is wowwww. Absolute beautiful build
Wow! This is the first motor vehicle that I ever drove. Same color too. This is in 1000 times better condition though. Very handsome truck.
Love the color
Just stunning !!! Absolutely a beautiful build !!! I am not a builder just respect and love the art of the original look !!! 1000 👍 up
I wish more car and truck videos were like this. 👍
Great truck. Efforts to presentation, excellent. Thx ICON crew/ Jonathan too
That Hass to be the best quality truck in the world. It would look so cool in my town. When I become rich, I’ll definitely give you a call.
Another Flawless build beautiful color & you have chosen the right color jacket to do the video Love the ICON brand
Just incredible work of art, what you guys do, so cool, I sure hope I can afford one of these builds sometime soon...Javi G.
I absolutely love this truck! Thank you, as always, for the tour.
I would love to see the 4x4 version. I hope someone commissions that build soon!
Very good description of what was done to the vehicle!
Wow absolutely beautiful!..My uncle had a truck similar many years ago (similar in body style 🙂) he bought it new, have to smile thinking of him taking this one for a drive...thanks for sharing your awesome vehicles.
Beyond anything I’ve ever seen ! Great job. Thanks, RickGTI….. 🌴
I appreciate the efforts and love the results of the “new format”. Thank you.
Your quality is second to none❤😊 excellent work...
Such a beautiful truck!
I like the new format!
This new format is better. Many thanks for the great content.
Its a masterpiece!
Can't wait to afford your work.
Mesquite is related to the pecan. Use the bark for smoking the BBQ. Flavor. Soak the chips in water for at least 24 hours.
Pristine, outstanding work, cheers! 👍
Wow this truck is awesome! From the stance to the color I love it!
Beautiful as usual Jonathan.
Greatest vehicles on the planet. 🤙
Man... if one could wish! Kudos❤🎉
Yes, we like the new format too.
Very nice work as always Jonathan.. I love the sound of the doors as they open and close.. The sound of quality.. Do you still have your Rolls Royce crew together? I want you to build me a Derelict Rolls... Take care my friend and God Bless....
Thanks Gary. Yes, still building those one offs, but super small team focused on them
I have found that in small cabins I put one channel of the stereo in the center between the 2 passengers And then the other channel outbored on the doors or whatever and it works Very well
Another masterpiece, great job as usual .
Yes, like new format. Would also like to see some bloopers if they are funny.
I’ve been waiting for this video! Perfect!
How come you’re the only manufacturer using catalytic converters when modernizing older vehicles ?
I have been watching and enjoying ( and admiring ) your videos for a long time. I have owned old trucks since the 60's ( nothing like an Icon, of course). Stunning design and execution. I sent a message from your website and look forward to hearing from you.
Pure class
Now that's the way to do it
AWESOME 👍🏻✌🏼
Punch speakers? Why not Rockford Fosgate speakers, Johnathan? I don't think I ever heard Punch speakers. That truck is one beautiful build! Love it!
Love this! But I can’t escape the no doubt expensive cost of this “thriftmaster” 😂
Nice stock look.. No clown wheels.
Another beautiful quality build from ICON! Question - have you considered using sections of rigid tubing & short sections of flexible duct tube for the HVAC? I see the flex ducting under the dash, and as a Product Designer, it seems like an area that could be dressed up.
Great job
Great video!!
I truly dig this
I have one in the woods right now all the glass all the unique ness and rust
It's just fabulous. But I still think the cargo box should be elevated to the height of the beltline just below the windows. To my eye that would seem more proportional. And I would do a diesel engine, 4- or 6-cyl., with automatic.
The fit and finish is unmatched in the restomod industry…. Only singer Porsche and eagle e types come close.
Perfection.
Would have painted the wheel barrel or a part of it in black to mimick a fatter tire
Hey JW! Did y’all ever think about maybe including the cup holders in the center arm rest?
Green reminds me of British racing green. What type of AC unit are you using - GM, Ford, Chrysler, etc? Is it auto? Nice build.
Love it
Awesome
Over the top price!
I like! 👍🏾
Charming.
What is the cost on a build like this? Awesome job.
You should have cup holders hidden away in the center arm rest.
Super.
perfection :)
Down right Bitchin truck. Can’t imagine a thing I would do different.
Фантастическое внимание к деталям. Джонатан непревзойдённый, и его команда ему под стать.
YES, killer!
😳 Oh my God. Wish they would do more European cars like they did with the Merc

Good looking girl. I am green with envy
Think preffered the old dash , new one a bit too shiny especially steering wheel.
What was the total cost
One day
Armrest cups holder next time.
I am subscribed to your channel and have not seen it for at least a year... apparently TH-cam is not notifying me
Can’t Imagine the sticker price here
happy birthday mom. here's a 300k dollar chevy truck!
Price
Great looking except the engine was an overkill and looks out place.
The speakers should’ve be hidden. 😅
$300k ?
cute
日本だとどのくらいの値段でしょうか?
🥸👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
