At times, breaking into the tech industry seems very difficult if you don't know anyone who works in tech and this is very insightful!! I will keep this in mind moving forward. Thank you!

Very informative video. I will try this approach from now on instead of asking random people on LinkedIn 🙂.

Very helpful (nothing less was expected)! However, I have to actually think about how to use this! I prefer everything on a plate:P

Hey Amy, Just seeing this particular video (thanks!) and have a question. Is there value to requesting relevant target Recommendations for a LinkedIn profile in advance of finding the role? In general, do you think recruiters/hiring managers look at those when screening a candidate?

Hey Amy. Do you know the levels of hierarchy at Meta/Facebook? What is an IC4 and Program Manager III.. and as progression what comes after these 2 levels? Is PM III in Meta same as Amazon L6?

Hey Amy, discovered your channel earlier and these are all great information thank you for sharing!!
Question for you about personal referrals, if the employee didn't work with candidate in a workplace, but had project experiences while they went to school together and worked on cases and presentations then, will that also count? Or we are mostly looking at professional experiences?

personal referrals are fine, but I think it's important to clarify "I know this person but haven't worked with them" - that's totally ok.
