Yup, I never witnessed a new-look defense made so many immediate stops without giving our WRs a chance to catch and extend the play. It was the defense's day (plus they had at least 3 weeks of prep since Bo was announced to be our QB)

Biggest issue to me was inflated expectations from fans... he played well. Missed a few opportunities as expected. But also showed a lot of heart and promise.. I think the team will only grow and get better. Sadly I think we were all expecting them to be further along so we are judging them too harshly when In reality it's a rookie . If the rest of the offense steps up like sean p says they should to help bo out until he gets comfortable then they should be just fine. Great video. Great breakdown.

Elway also eventually took a weak ssa team to the sb 3 times before he even won back to back, is that gonna be bo nix? Hell no. Elway is a top 5 qb ever let’s not put Bo on that pedestal. Even Trevor Seiman looked good under Sean's coaching. All those other qbs you mentioned that Broncos drafted should have never been drafted. He even made Russell Wilson look better than Hackett. Sean even tried to draft Mahomes and got jumped by Andy Reid, those two were the only ones reported to be interested in Mahomes. The play calling didn't help the QB. Honestly, how can we even evaluate a QB in those conditions? And it's his first NFL game, and it's on the road, and it's in Seattle! Few big issues that can be adjusted. The play calling makes no sense. Offensive coordinators need to come up with better route options in the red zone & 3 rd & short situations. Not completely sold on the fact that we don’t have a true RB simply because SP pretty much abandoned the run game. Also these WRs probably need to spend the most hrs in the film room.

What are your thoughts on his foot placement and footwork in a dirty pocket. Seems like he was super juiced had a lot of happy feet a lot of dancing on his toes

Play calling seemed bad watching live and after watching this break down. It’s also obvious the wide receiver room needs revamped whenever possible.

At 22:50 I felt Bo was throwing to the WR a hair behind him trying to settle him in the hole so the WR could get the first. Instead the WR didn't feel it and just ran through full speed. I am sure that is what the play calls for, so no shade on the WR, but I hope more experience together can help create that chemistry. No is very good at throwing to a spot to help the receiver and the receivers would do well to feel it.

I love how no matter who the QB happens to be. He always says "us" bronis in every fan base and it feels authentic!

First start, good defense, loud stadium, on the road. Don't understand the gameplan at all and everyone on offense had a bad game. Bo wasn't good but he played like a rookie and flashed on a few plays. He was never expected to ball out in game 1 - he'd not have been the 6th QB taken if that was the expectation.
He needs time, a proper gameplan and playcalling, and the rest of the offense to do their jobs. I feel he'll come good and grow throughout the year. I'm not worried yet.

It seemed that the play design had too many receivers & defenders in the same vicinity & the windows were too small. They should have tried to spread Seattle's zone out & isolate their corners in more one on ones. The lack of run game made matters far worse.

I absolutely believe the WR group failed this team Sunday. With a rookie QB, who will make mistakes, the WRs cannot drop chain moving balls. 2 punts forced because of 2 drops. Absolute game changing momentum swings by what are supposed to be NFL Caliber WRs.

A lot is definitely due to being brand new. That said, he kept staring daggers at where he was going to throw (he was improving though) and man those wideouts have GOT to catch some footballs. Those guys cost us a lot of momentum when it counted the most.

This really exposes our lack of desire and intelligence in our WR core. Lackluster effort, horrible spacing, lots of drops.

After watching I’m more optimistic about Bo and that he can clean stuff up and get better. That being said the whole offense needs to execute better and that includes Sean Payton. I think Payton will be able to get this better throughout the season. But please for the love of god everyone needs to chill out on Bo and that he’s a bust or something. Some broncos fans are absolutely ridiculous. Let the kid develop. It’s his first game, on the road, against a good defense and a great defensive play caller.

I thought the biggest issue was miscommunication. Whether it’s timing or situational awareness. Just felt like play calling was odd and players weren’t in sync. Coachable stuff, but needs to be better. I trust that Sean will get it fixed. Wish Mims played more and Franklin was active for possible splash plays with their speed. Jaleel shouldn’t be the only real threat in space

Give credit to the defense for not given into a fake by the WR. Defenders make plays especially against below average WRs which Denver has.

Worst is when the QB throws it knowing there is zero chance for the first down. Bad route and bad throw from the QB. Kind of been Denver's offense for years. Bad route and bad QBs. It was always bad when Denver won the SB. The defense won it Payton sure didn't.
