- Here is a fun look at what SpaceX has been up to at their Starbase facility in south Texas. This is an animation of every major test article SpaceX has used to develop the Starship spacecraft which will be used to revolutionize space travel and help move humans to Mars. The speed at which SpaceX has developed Starship has been incredible to watch and they continue to amaze and inspire us all!
This animation could not have been possible without the amazing people who dedicate so much of their lives to bring us SpaceX information and video!
Thank you Felix and the whole "What About It!?" family for your kindness and support.

Also a big thanks to my fellow artists of spaceflight! You have all been a great help and such a fun community! Thanks for continuing to raise the bar!
I love how he upgraded the pad everytime nice attantion to detail 👏🏽
Yes! Actually crazy!
Thanks! Lots of reaserch!
Maybe a good idea for a follow up ... All the main site traffic over the past year, showing the slow accretion of concrete spreading over the site. Yum yum, yes please!
@@johnfallas3627 Sounds like a lot of work for the pay off.. I think he should model spot the dog for a zoom in sniffing the SN10 wreckage. That's pay off. The new crane is gonna take some time on it's own, though
You can also see the build site progressing in the background
The sound is just glorious ;-)
Glad to hear that!
I love the sound of the metal bits bouncing off the ground.
I'am Glad!
@Chris Bushmaker tell the creator of instaportal that nobody falls for it anymore.
Realistic sound
6:29 I love how it just blows up in mid air out of no where
Well that’s what happened
@@GreysonGabble the sound is funny
Imagine if he just had a grey screen for the SN11 launch
Sure would be more accurate!
@@morecowbell2611 but lazy
@@nobpyxl5389 but funny
To see sn11
It really would have been funny but it provided a lot more insight for me on what really happened
Could’ve probably just let the screen white for SN11.
Great work! I love how public every single test is, videos like this are probably going to be shown in history classes on Mars
Just Mars, without the 'the'. And with a big M.
@@mariasirona1622 grammar nazi lol
@@mariasirona1622 Good thing you can edit comments, thank you!
@@FinkHD oh, it's nothing
@@mariasirona1622 no, it's being a grammar nazi
Animation + sense of humour.
That was fun.
Damn I didn't even know half of these tests ever happened
I've watched all these live.😎
I've watched them all
I belive i only missed static fires
Not even three years and Starship is almost ready to go to orbit.
not even 2 years
if we start counting since starhopper, that is.... and still, starhopper wasn't starship, just as grasshopper wasn't Falcon 9
the Starship program officially started with the MK1, Starhopper was a test tank for the engines, not a starship, so yep... not even 2 years
(meanwhile SLS after a decade of development... and don't even mention Blue Origin who it seems still won't have the Glenn by the time Starship goes to Mars...)
Idk why but i like reading you comment lol
ah this aged well
HAHAHA
and welp, it blew up.
Amazing, best animation i hv seen
Wow thanks!!
Amazing attention to detail , launch site construction 🏗️🚧 tracked perfectly ❤️
Loved the details such as the flying COPV from starhopper and pad destruction from SN5
Destruction
But yeah I agree with you
Hi
Crazy how before covid we didn't even have a starship anything, and now we are 5 away from an orbital starship.
Amazing progress!
They scrapped SN 16-19, the next flight will be an orbital one.
@@whyiseverysinglehandletaken2 lol, aged damn well. (hopyfully this month finally)
@@TheSpaceEngineer man it's been an year, i stopped following starship development months ago, can't believe starship lost against the sls for the first orbital flight by MONTHS
@@TheSpaceEngineer YES SIR
Ooooo!
Been waiting for this one 😄 well done!
Thanks!
Yay! The trilogy continues, and with so much details, amazing work!
Thanks!
Haha almost all the ships went Shhhhhhhhhttttt--- Clang! Nice vid!
Love the production site development!
Awesome. Continue to make more
Thanks! Will do
The animation looks funny but your efforts are good. Love it!
Only Criticism: SN10 didn't hover before landing
The sounds are hilarious.
Insane
THIS IS SOOOO COOOOL!!!!
Thanks!
you should do a 15-25 or so when that happens and then add it to the end of this so you have a starhopper to starship in orbit
Great idea!
This is so awesome! Amazing detail on the Landing Pad Textures!
Awesome job with these. We all appreciate the work you put into this animation.
Idk why but I love seeing all the test vehicles
This is surprisingly high quality for a TH-camr this small.
Keep up with the good work!
Why thank you!
Wow, incredible job, Been waiting for this since you last update on the tests.
Outstanding. Thank you for your hard work.
Amazing rundown of the recent history!

Thanks for the kind words!
Freaking amazing, man. Brilliant animation.
Wow, I love how everything progressively changes over time!!
Perfect combination of music, sound effects and exploding CGI. Funny as hell
10/10 IMDb
I've watched this so many times now, and everything looks amazing. One thing that strikes me as off every time, though, is that one of SN8's engines did actually experience a flameout, and the other started running engine-rich. If it had happened as you show, SN8 might well have survived, it certainly seemed to have more control with one engine than SN9 did, and SN10 landed on one.
This gets my seal of approval
Thanks hoppy. Hope you stand forever!
Man I love the precision of literally everything in this video. Good job!
Thanks!
Nick this is absolutely brilliant! Thank you so much. I especially love the sound effects lol

If SpaceX engineers had applied the pressure vessel codes they could have saved a lot of time and money.
