Maybe a good idea for a follow up ... All the main site traffic over the past year, showing the slow accretion of concrete spreading over the site. Yum yum, yes please!
@@johnfallas3627 Sounds like a lot of work for the pay off.. I think he should model spot the dog for a zoom in sniffing the SN10 wreckage. That's pay off. The new crane is gonna take some time on it's own, though
Could’ve probably just let the screen white for SN11. Great work! I love how public every single test is, videos like this are probably going to be shown in history classes on Mars
not even 2 years if we start counting since starhopper, that is.... and still, starhopper wasn't starship, just as grasshopper wasn't Falcon 9 the Starship program officially started with the MK1, Starhopper was a test tank for the engines, not a starship, so yep... not even 2 years (meanwhile SLS after a decade of development... and don't even mention Blue Origin who it seems still won't have the Glenn by the time Starship goes to Mars...)
@@TheSpaceEngineer man it's been an year, i stopped following starship development months ago, can't believe starship lost against the sls for the first orbital flight by MONTHS
I've watched this so many times now, and everything looks amazing. One thing that strikes me as off every time, though, is that one of SN8's engines did actually experience a flameout, and the other started running engine-rich. If it had happened as you show, SN8 might well have survived, it certainly seemed to have more control with one engine than SN9 did, and SN10 landed on one.
I love how he upgraded the pad everytime nice attantion to detail 👏🏽
Yes! Actually crazy!
Thanks! Lots of reaserch!

Glad to hear that!
I love the sound of the metal bits bouncing off the ground.
I'am Glad!
@Chris Bushmaker tell the creator of instaportal that nobody falls for it anymore.
Realistic sound

Just Mars, without the 'the'. And with a big M.

Crazy how before covid we didn't even have a starship anything, and now we are 5 away from an orbital starship.
Amazing progress!
They scrapped SN 16-19, the next flight will be an orbital one.

If SpaceX engineers had applied the pressure vessel codes they could have saved a lot of time and money.
Awesome work
Excellent job dude!
Amazing.....this should be part of history classes 🥰🥰🥰🥰
you should do a 15-25 or so when that happens and then add it to the end of this so you have a starhopper to starship in orbit
Great idea!
