I'd agree, if he landed the booster on the launchpad.
@Boost if he used that, it's not very good.
Some translations of russian mission names:
Sputnik - Satellite
Vostok - East
Voshod - Rise (pronounced vos-hod, sh isn't pronounced sh in Russian, s and h are separate)
Soyuz - Union
Lunochod - Moonwalker
Zarya - That red glow of the horizon before the sunrise
Zvezda - star
Salyut - firework... Not the best name for something flying on a rocket.
Zarya - Dawn
Pirs - Cape
Im a serb so i thought since Hod is walk in Serbian its probably the same in Russian so Voskhod must mean space walk, guess i was wrong
Is Lunokhod which litteraly means Moon walker
Voskhod is more like sunrise
I thought Soyuz means Soviet?

The amount of work that went into this video is mind blowing. I know it’s 4 years old, but I want you to know just how amazing it was to watch this. Thank you!!!
Great video, it'd be awesome to see this with the making history and breaking ground parts.
It’s truly amazing how less than 40 years after the Wright Brothers created a working airplane that humans were launching objects into space and how less than 70 years later, we landed on the Moon.
Space is not that far from the ground after all. Many people don't realize that space is about a 100 or 200 km above the ground only, much closer than the nearest big city from where many people live. Getting to space altitude is the easy part, getting to orbit is trickier, requires several thousands more meters per second of acceleration...
And some people don't believe it
@@davidvreugdenhil4557 just imagine putting decades of work into a cutting edge machine just so some lunatics say it's fake. Really saddens me :(

I got this like 3 inch thicc book about every space probe sent to every planet and stuff, read it about 4 times now. Really interesting actually
@@ScienceAlliance what's it called?
@@baconboiiscoolandnice "Space Probes" by Philippe Séguéla
Every probe that's gone beyond earth's orbit gets usually at least 2 pages. It's from around 2014 I think, so a little bit dated. But 99.99% of it is still just as usuable if it were from this year.
Also it's organized by planet. So you've got the lunar probes/ landers chapter, mars probes/ landers, venus etc. Super interesting but hecka long at like 350+ pages
One thing good about not playing with other kids is that no matter if your hobby is playing video games or learning something you will literally learn about war or space history cause they are very intresting

Beautiful. Just Beautiful. But there are some historical errors.
1. The flight of soyuz where all the cosmonauts died. They died while re-entry in the descent module. But your camera is looking out the window of the orbital module
2. The space shuttle is firing it's OMS engines from the start on the launch pad. In reality, the space shuttle would only use it's three SSME(+of course the two giant solid rocket boosters) during the ascent. And fire its OMS engines once it is in space. Just to make minor orbital adjustments.
But regardless, I loved the video so much
