I’d say you should custom make these feeders and sell them. As a breeder myself, having something like this would facilitate feeding and eliminate the mess.

3 years ago we had our 1st litter - 8 pups. Here is the original version of my feeders - 1 pc table for 8. th-cam.com/video/HnoS7bdeQF4/w-d-xo.html I now make these in 3 bowl, 4 bowl, and 5 bowl, to fit virtually any size litter, just mix and match.
Buy the bowls you need, (ive found them in slightly different diameters).decide how many bowls you want per feeder. I find 3, 4, and 5 bowl feeders to work the best for any size litter. Buy your lumber, cut to size, assemble, use a water base sealer on all surfaces. And enjoy the ease of feeding and clean up, ensuring all pups get the nutrition they need at this vital stage in their young life. Thanks for watching.
I think he said he built the puppy feeder and the whelping box. He did a really nice job with them. The little bowls look like cat bowls? I’m not sure though. You can buy whelping boxes at a pet supply stores
Yes, give them water in a shallow bowl. A heavy ceramic bowl is what I used. I also used bottled water until they get an immune system to fight bacteria.
I have 3 4 week old pups and I made it exactly like he did but more liquidy and there definitely not going as crazy as these pups r for the food, they’ll lick it for a couple seconds and be done. Does anyone have any tips?
It is called a "pig rail". When Momma dog lays down, she almost always puts her back to the sidewall, opening herself for nursing for the pups. If a pup were to be back there, it would be trapped, and possibly suffocate. The space below the pig rail creates an escape route for the pup, so it is not crushed or suffocated. @@40streetblack79 cleaning 7 bowls is easy. Not having to clean the puppies and the floor where the walk after eating is the real benefit.

Your shoving their heads in there too rough. Let them observe instead on making them do it right away. They are still fragile.
Actually, no different than when the momma dog carries them and pushes them with her nose and tongue. These pups were never in danger of being hurt.

Why do you grind the food up? It is so unnecessary and creates a bigger mess. Just soak the food, don't grind it.
