I have two Strats. One 1982 (made in Fullerton) and one newer custom built (MiM neck, MJT body, Fender Fat 50 P/Us w/ MiM parts). It's also very nice. My '82 has seen a lot of gigs. Has very worn frets. Dig them both! Schecters are nice guitars...I hear.
That does help but it's beyond just the crackling. The taper feels off on them and they aren't very sensitive or usable unless they are turned all the way up
@@guitar_george hey thanks for the answer! is it buttery like rosewood? See I have a glossed over maple neck on my sire and it's just way too smooth for me.
I'm biased to my Fender products all the way. I personally enjoy the float and of course there's nothing better than saying My Guitars Pronouns are U S A! On another note, I hope to make it to the show man you guys are going to be great! Shred baby!😎
really sounds dope man. Enjoyed the video man
Those Schecter are dope

Nice! A well loved strat is always great
If the pots have some crackle sounds, then spray some DeoxIT in there. Cleans it all up!

Mayer all day! Though the pink is nice
how does the fretboard on the nj feel compared to rosewood?
It feels similar but it's harder. It's Ebony

I would say it's much closer to rosewood than maple, but not quite at buttery as rosewood. Somewhere in the middle
The Fender has a crisper sound. More bite.
I thought it sounded much fatter too
@@guitar_george Yup... Probably. It's difficult to get all the nuances when you're hearing the guitars on computer speakers. In person, it's easier.
I own a Fender American Pro ll Strat and this Nick Johnston Schecter. Honestly the Schecter blows it away in specs and overall quality.
Sad to see it but it may be true. The Schecter is a great value
