Hey Everyone! I have not been feeling too well and you probably can tell with me being a little lethargic, but regardless I really wanted to make this video.
Slick backs are simple and easy. If you have the right tools they can be done in seconds!
Simple and straight tutorial.
Not all that shit with hair dryer, tons of hair products and combs.
Multiple products is a must for my hair type. I need oil / tonic / serum and will use but not always prestylers etc. It's good to keep things simple but going in depth with the hair knowledge / products isn't a bad thing.... but I can see how it can come off as douchey too I thought the same thing at first.

I have been growing out my hair since the pandemic and now its time to cut it. I think im going for the good ol slick back but with lots of hair. cameron definitely had the best pompadours out of all the pomade youtubers followed by astreetcarnamedbacon(dead channel),but he's also the one that lost his hair the fastest,can't fight genetics.

@@DjVader112 You certainly can't fight genetics, but an attitude like this 3:53-3:56 can speed up the process. I wonder if he thinks it was worth it. His hair without product, in the beginning, looked better. It's sort of funny seeing him apply rogaine to save it now. In one of his videos, he said he was ok with going bald but is doing absolutely everything to stop it which may inevitably fail.

I'm doing that more now with Murray's Superior Hair Dressing Pomade. Reason being is because my hair is not trained to slick back. However, when I use the product it slicks my hair back nicely, as I know the product takes no shit from hair.

Oh, god. I tried this in middle school! My hair was like a shaggy version of the old Bieber haircut. I used a ton of hair gel. Where my hair was absolutely wet in the morning.
I swear by lunchtime all the gel dried out and my hair just popped back up. I never tried that shit again.

If you le it on your hair for a long time yes. Use it and when you get home wash them . You will be fine

I’m 6 months late BUT tell your barber the hair you want before letting him know how short you want it. Tell him you want it slicked back. They’ll know what to work with

Try a very wide brush or afro pick.

Two routes you can go down.
-Super heavy and waxy pomade for it super tight to your head
-light pomade to make it slick and uniform

My slick back falls apart in the center (a lil bit on my left side), and i gotta pomp it otherwise it lokks ridiculous. Any tips to prevent my slickopomp from fallin apart?
I hear you, my friend. The best thing to do is to use a medium hold pomade (or a heavy hold, if your hair is really stubborn) to keep that from happening, and then top it with a lighter hold to keep that shine.

I've got a problem with my slickback where one side of my hair (kind of that border line between the top of the head and the side of the head) likes to stick out. If I use more pomade it doesn't really do a lot for it, just makes the rest of my hair start looking greasy (I'm using Lockhart medium OB). Would a lighter pomade work better in this regard?
The easiest way would be to wear a hat or something for a couple of days until the hair stays in that position and then you can try, that's how i did it.

I know this isn't my business, but haven't you mentioned that you really loose your hair at the back. You can see that at 4:08. In the Internet I have seen many times advice to not to comb hair wet after shower. Can it initiate hair loose? How do you think?

Ok good I was like "does a brush help?" Because I used a comb in one the the end of the comb made my hair open and I couldn't keep it even plus the comb started picking up the gel in my hair at the end of the combteeths

Damn, I would like to have hair like you. I'm only 21, but my receding hairline is ridiculous, and I can't even shave to zero because I had a weird shaped head. The only thing I can do is this common loose side part, which i don't really like.

Cowlicks are not a problem for me. I just get my military brush and smooth out the hairs so that they would cooperate in case I run into that problem.

You use a comb or a brush?? I use the comb and I don't brush it WAY back, just a bit as if you want the front side of the hair to look bigger. I can't explain it but I make it like Al Pacino in The Godfather
