Zz Plant bulbs are just like little seeds for zz plant. they can just grow new plants even you ignore them.

Yes! I found out by deciding to keep the bulb or rhizome and saw that it sprouted even after I had sliced a huge chunk of it off.
And after 4 years you’re still the only one to show bulbs sprouting!
It seems to be only video that shows about zz bulbs.
Rat ate my plant and now I just have the bulb. With all faith in bulb its 2months now.
Its still alive but no shoots so far. I should wait. Thank you for keeping my hope up. 🙏🏻

Thankyou finally one video which can answer my curiosity. I tried growing zz plant form leaves first time. I dnt have a zz plant i took leaves from someone to grow one for myself last year... all the leaves have dried but nodes have formed underneath but i dnt knew what to do with them will they grow or the entire process has been a waste since last year they are still rhizomes and no new growth has come out... but now i know patience is the key... cnt wait to finally have my own zz plant...thankyou again for video...
Edit: Finally all the rhizomes have sprout and i have plenty of zz'z now. It took a year for them to have an actual growth and first two leaves.

Hello! you may water them when the soil is almost dry. Twice a week as for mine.
Great video! It was so hard to find one about growing these plant from tubers! I just divided my very large ZZ plant which had very many giant potato sized tubars. Since I had to use a shovel to split up the plant, so,e of the ty ars got split in half. How to I get these to grow new sprouts? Did you need to mist the tubers? Mine also have long roots attached to them still. I very much would like to save these babies and would appreciate your advice on placement of the tubers to promote new growth. Thanks in advance! I bought a clearance zz plant and the stem had rotted but I was left with a big bulb. I cut the dead roots off and put it in a pot. I’m hoping I have success like in this video.
I did try to do a stem cutting but the stem kept dying. Maybe because i just cut the rot off it and hoped that it would grow roots if planted again.
Hello! When doing stem cuttings, make sure to let the cut ends dry first to have more chances to grow them some roots. But usually when the stem died, there might be something rotting from the bulb or roots.

Hi I purchased a variegated ZZ plant online but the plant was stressed after transport and dropped all its leaves. I only have the bulb now. I don't know if I should water the bulb at all or basically just wait first for new growth before watering. The bulb is still in the soil and it is in winter where I live. Do you water for bulbs during the 70 days?

Hello! If you propagate it without leaflets it won't work.

Hello! If you got a broken stem without a leaf, yes you may just cut it off from its bulb.

the big ones were from my old zz plants and the small ones were from leaf and stem cuttings that I propagated a while ago.

Hello! It really depends on the soil and climate. When I see the soil is dry then i give just enough. For newly planted cuttings, I just damp the soil. After a month, maybe once or twice a week of watering.
This basically just showed the before and after. “This is what’s possible, but I’m not gonna show you how or the care required to do it.” 🤦🏼♀️

Yes I also use the same. I also change my soil mixture from time to time trying to see whats better.
