    This was my first year using Yardbooks and i absolutely love it so far. However the only question i haven't figured out yet is, can it link up with Quickbooks? Keep up the great work brother!!

      I don't use Quickbooks, but this is what I found. Maybe see if this works for ya? Thanks for your support! I appreciate it!

    Hey silly question but does this helps the customer to pay more faster because I am currently having that issue. I got 126 yards and usually have 15-20 that I always have to keep track making sure they pay because of habit of not paying me right away and can go couple weeks and have to remind them constantly and especially with bigger landscaping jobs is my current issue. On fourth year of business. I been doing it with pen and paper. I will be trying this out seeing if it helps. Thanks on the info

    How do you track your jobs while out cutting for the day? Just pen and paper and then do the computer work when you get done or is there a way on yard lol to simply hit a “I cut this grass today” and it add it to the customers page? Or do you just have to manually build an invoice each time? Thanks in advance!

      You can create a re-occurring jobs (routes). pull up to a lawn, click start job, Then as you finish your cut, you click completed. Then you can auto generate invoices for the jobs completed that day.

    I have been using Yardbook for 3 years now and it works pretty good. Do you have all your regular customers set up with a price per cut? I under stand you wouldn't have done that for the example but hopefully everyone else is set up. Also, do you add more detail to the line items than what is suggested?

    • @D.Stephenson
      @D.Stephenson  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Caleb's Property Maintenance yep everyone else is set up with their price per cut. The line items that i use regularly I had “custom”named them versus what yardbook had. Any explanation of costs would be described in the notes section of the invoice! Hopefully this helps! 👊🏻

    How bout the 2.9 % credit card fees ? I’m about to start using yardbooks and online payments.. who’s paying for that ?

  • @merarirodriguez2127
    @merarirodriguez2127 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    Hi thank you for that…. I was wondering Like on jobber I have to click "complete" on each visit or at least one visit for every single customer before it allows me to generate an invoice. Do you have to do the same in yard book? How do you Get that job or that customer ready to be invoiced? And/or can you just go and select all oh and select all of your clients with one clip that are reaccurring with same dollar amounts same job every month and just click on them all at 1 time and batch email invoice??

    Is there a way to create a customized form template for estimates? I'm getting lost in how large this program is. HELPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPP! Please.

    I run into a problem when someone pays in advance, I add the payment to the customer (not the invoice) and that creates a credit, when I apple the credit to an invoice it saves. The problem is, once I add the credit, if I delete a service from that invoice it will not remove the credit applied.
    So far I have to delete the payment and the invoice to fix that

    • @D.Stephenson
      @D.Stephenson  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yeah, I do not do pre-payment for that reason. I feel like it leads to more complications than anything. Charge card on file has been a life saver

      @@D.Stephenson interesting. I need to change it, to many people want to meet me at the property and such. Too time consuming

    • @michaelweatherston3500
      @michaelweatherston3500 ปีที่แล้ว

      If they pay in advance it will create a credit. And there will be an option to "use credit" on the payment drop-down.

      We have all of our lawn accounts as “charge card on file.” We simply sent out a letter explaining what we were doing, the new billing process, and that was it. No more “waiting on a check”

    Is this still how you are creating invoices? If so there is a fast method

    • @D.Stephenson
      @D.Stephenson  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I’m not sure what other softwares process is. But this is a quick and simple way to do invoicing. I can draw up and invoice in a minute

    • @straightcuts3336
      @straightcuts3336 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@D.Stephenson If you are a mowing guy this method is going to be the quickest one. As long as you have jobs created with your reoccurring work set up through the calendar you can use the auto invoice feature which lets see you simultaneously create multiple invoices for whatever Date range you want. If you invoice at the end of the month yard books will create one invoice for each customer with the right amount of services and dates based on the jobs you have scheduled.

      Thays exactly what I want to know cuz I use Jobber right now and like everything about it cuz i set up every client under "reoccurring job" BUT only Ossie with Jobber is inhave to manually every week click COMPLETE in order to create the invoice and I have over hundred customers to be doing that every darn week for everyone, then post payments, etc etc.
      I'm looking for a system that for my reoccurring lawn maintenance clients, I could just go on the first of the month, abd click then all and hit "Send June Invoice"🙄
