Lovely rod. Was looking at one a year ago. I like using Beach ledgering rods favourite is Tubertini eurocasting 110g 4.2m comes with 3 interchangeable tips. Had a 60cm Bass on it in June ,17mm blank almost as good as lure fishing!
that was a very good review Matt. I am getting a lot of questions about lure rods in relation to my Sea Bass videos, I was just thinking about doing a review myself on my channel. Wasn't sure what format should it be, and how to approach it. I must say I am liking yours a lot! Nice one
Thanks marcin, I’ve done some lure rod reviews as you know don’t know if this will help you with what to do or not do ! th-cam.com/video/Zy6Efr44Iyk/w-d-xo.html
SD stands for short distance I have the black panther evolution sd & panther evolution both 12ft there designed for about an optimum casting weight of 100g and they put 100g & 3 clip down baits well out of sight, drop down to 100g and watch them fly even up to 125g. 150 is its limit more for lobbing. There designed for scratching for bass, Bream, flatties they are fun to fish with bites are violent on them flexi tips, be interesting with a Raymond on one lol I love them they put the fun back into sea fishing!
Nice Rod review Matt - I like the look of that! I managed to pick up a Surfblaster II recently for Peanuts! Just re-spooled it with new backing, mainline & shockleader, and now we can't go fishing! Bugger! Hope you & yours had a good Christmas & new year - stay safe & well. 👍👍
You mentioned using mono at the start to bed the rod in? Can you explain how that works - in the past I've just used braid (or whatever line) right off the bat
That’s a good point - it could definitely take a small multiplier - 7ht size and actually I would consider it. Only the first rod ring sits a bit too high off the blank but fishable.
Hi Alan I’ve used an old 90s daiwa hpb for all of those rung with a fixed spool. It’s been great but in terms of a modern rod there are those better placed to advise you . That said the tip tornado from century in some form and the anyfish anywhere 6 and bait come well recommended from friends fishing those marks
Great rods the afaw from what I’ve heard and seen with friends - I like the look of the 6plus , the downside of this cinnetic is that flat spot when retrieving now I’ve had some bigger fish on it
Tested mine the other week cracking wee scratching conti rod. Cinnetic r a serious conti rod brand just a shame in the uk there not that popular compared to others. I’ve owned tronixpro and akios contis cinnetic r just a league in there own have 4 cinnetic contis soon to be 5 😂😊🎣
Interesting your comparing to tronix and akios. Those are so popular I think especially on Facebook groups😂 I think it might also be compared to the yuki range as they do a couple of lighter rods like this. Thanks for your input
it’s ok your not breaking anything. with fish numbers low it’s important to feel the bites and enjoy fishing. The rod is more about the anglers enjoyment.
Ive recently bought a telescopic fibre glass 12ft . Its super light only rated to 5oz. I like seeing those dab or whiting bites increased.

@@SaltwaterAngler I've missed that one! thanks for sending it and tight lines in 2021

Nicely turned out rod Matt, envious of you being out there though lol. Cheers keep em coming
Last season I fished with a cinnetic crafty 7/35 gram, loved it so much I bought the raycast 7/35 gram. It's such a good rod for the price
Nice cheers

Oh well typical, you can use it on those spring plaice !
You mentioned using mono at the start to bed the rod in? Can you explain how that works - in the past I've just used braid (or whatever line) right off the bat
The way I look at it is the braid is a more snappy cast on the rod and reel. Mono slower less likely to dig in to the spool
Nice review what size leads have you been using it with?
4 oz perfect but recently no worries with a 5 it feels well balanced
Great review mate, looks like a fun rod to play with 😀👍
Cheers for watching again , yea its fun - really thingk plaice and bass will be great on it though.
Very helpful review, cheers mate
Glad it helped
Hi matt.
Cracking review.
Did you try a multi on the rod or is that a big no. Great videos by the way keep up the good work 👏 👍

@@SaltwaterAngler i use a continental. A tronixpro aphex with a akios shuttle and the ring does sit a little high but it works for me.👍🏻
Quick question i fish mainly heavy rocks, rough ground and beach which all round rod would you recommend I use a fixed spool reel

@@SaltwaterAngler thanks m8 the century or anyfish anywhere is what I was looking at but not sure on which model thanks for the help
Bonjour combien le prix
Looks ok but ill stick to my afaw 4 and bait still not convinced by euro style stuff

Do you know we're I can get one 👍
No not anymore I’m afraid can’t find them
That looks like a carp rod blank painted Orange !!!!!
ha yes never thought of it like that
Like
Good
Fish couldn't care less which Rod you use....
Sorry to have to break the shocking news
True , but its all about the casting ability, feel and weight. :)
