    I thought I knew my New Testament but I really never noticed I Timothy 1:9-10 where slave traders are mentioned as the law breakers that are contrary to the sound doctrine of the glorious gospel! Glory to God. It is amazing that certain denominational churches promoted slavery for as long as they did! It is shameful that so many "Christians" do not study their New Testament. They love certain parts of the Old Testament but have little understanding of the love, mercy, and grace that has been introduced with the New Covenant that God made with mankind through the death of his son. Thank you for telling the truth about Islam, Christianity, and history.

      You are very right, the only thing is, is that there was quite a lot of Jewish involvement in these trades and the likes of Jay Smith will never attempt to expose the evil that is present in Judaism.
      They could start with the soulless act of them mutilating their babies genitals in their wicked rituals.
      People either have the Truth written on their hearts or they don't, and it seriously does seem as though a lot of these people do not, despite their Christian beliefs.

Secondly, and more importantly, you do not refer to the very important verses Lev. 25:44-46. I would like to hear your interpretation of this passage which discusses, seemingly, lifetime slavery, slavery of slaves' children and heritable slaves. Thanks brothers.

    Good information but be honest... The Arab slavery was brutal indeed. But European slavery was definitely brutal. European slavery was also the only slavery in history to strip the enslaved people of their African culture and history. And bringing the Bible in didn’t help you guys.. This European slavery was NOT THE SAME AS BIBLICAL SLAVERY, African slavery or any other slavery.
    The truth is - when the Hebrews were delivered out of Egypt in the Bible, the Hebrews never thought they were Egyptians. “By Faith Moses, when he was come to years, refused to be called the son of Pharaoh’s daughter” (Hebrews 11:24) Moses even refused to be called an Egyptian - they knew their original culture and history!

    Killing 80-90% of your slaves before they even get to market is so wantonly wasteful I have difficulty imagining the mindset required to do it. I assume they were being gang-raped daily by their captors on the way to market, I wonder how many simply committed suicide or refused to eat.
    We also see why North Africa got so depopulated, the natives disappeared because there were too few women left to bear the next generation.

      interesting point..
      during Islamic conquest to India, whenever a region lost a war the wives did Jauhar which is burning themselves to death (along with their children)..
      why go that far ? because they see firsthand how the widows become sexslaves, the childrens also became slaves (but since they are young they can be trafficked) & don't even mention the females..
      "The Islamic conquest of India is probably the bloodiest story in history. It is a discouraging tale, for its evident moral is that civilization is a precious good, whose delicate complex of order and freedom, culture and peace, can at any moment be overthrown by barbarians invading from without or multiplying within."

    Why is information regarding the role Jews, Islam and African in the slave trade coming forward now? How did/are American schools/institutions still teaching about the European role in slavery and not all the others. This brings to mind the scripture, ...they conspire against us. Is slavery taught in Arab schools? I wonder what they teach???

    The problem with this is that you're using a single source. The other problem is that you're clearly trying to absolve the west from slavery by saying the Muslims were worse. You're also comparing the Atlantic slave trade, which was animated by a small group of the same people, to the Islamic slave trade which was a universal activity in the region. The problem there is that you're making it seem as if Islamic slave trade was the monolith that the Atlantic slave trade more accurately resembles. Also, the Bible verses are obviously vague because if they were actually trying to say slavery was objectionable then it would have never taken off. It's would have been much more honest to simply say the truth: abrigamic religions all took a conservative stance with slavery. It's "bad" but not bad enough to abolish, only to regulate. All three abrigamic religions have equality in their verses. All abrahamic religions regulate slavery. Also it's not slave of Allah it's prayer to Allah. These are just two similar sounding words with different meanings. Lol also why is this an advertisement for Christianity?

    • @iheanyi1
      @iheanyi1 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Whatever you say about Abrahamic religion, Christianity openly condemns slavery.
      Whites are actually not really Christians, but whites and the trans-Atlantic slave trade was evil. I actually find it objectionable that you tried to somehow say the Arabic slave trade is not as objectionable. It is evil and very bad.
      The difference is while Judaism and Islam support slavery, Christianity does not and the whites and Arabs did very great evil in the form of religion.

      @ruhtraeregel 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You do realise that every nation culture on earth engaged in slavery and islamic slave trade indeed was worse and blacks sold arabs and whites their own people. Ironically what people dont realise is because european coloniolism was so international it resulted in white people ending slavery globally also britain and france literally waged wars in africa senegal for example against black kingdoms to FORCE them to abolish slavery of their fellow blacks. They did not want to end slavery because it made them wealthy. Get educated. stop being a literal biggot and its obvious you are racist against whites and not looking at what coloniolism actually achieved. You are a citizen living a pretty good life in a predominantly white nation. In fact blacks kill blacks like mad and white people actually care more about black lives than blacks. BLACK LIVES MATTER. Just not to black people. They matter to white people more which is obvious from statistics and from black people who live in white areas etc. idiot.

    I can respect Dr J concepts and teachings up to a point...the point where he starts doing the apologetic thing, the 'my god is right n yours is wrong because I have some convenient Bible texts and feel good theology'. Dude, you can't have it both ways. You can't say that your god is all powerful all loving all caring all merciful and according to Bible stories, millions of innocent were killed, women and children taken as tokens of war, raped and killed and while all this was going on we're supposed to put aside logic and actually believe that your loving God was sitting back watching and crying in pain because the evils on earth, the evils he perpetuated and or the evils he can't stop.....because ding ding ding - the free will clause. He can't interfere...unless he feels like it...sending bears to eats kids for teasing Elijah, causing donkeys to talk, rescuing 3 men from firey oven, saving a man in a whale belly, you know, he gets involved with the cute stuff. Saving thousands of children from being killed, saving women from being raped...nahhhh, they probably deserve it anyways, right?? Right, free will and the devil is in control on earth....BUT atleast we Christians have the better god because Jesus is so sweet and Arabs are so cruel and they killed millions in the name of their crazy god...their book is pure evil and ours is the good sweet book full of righteousness. I believe in the creator god or God's, I just give him/her/it/them full credit for both the good and the bad. Don't buy unto the bs folks, non of them are religions of peace, there are wonderful ppl of faith, terribly misguided and brainwashed

      the Atlantic slave trade was based on social & economic things not on Christianity
