I use NordVPN. As long as your connection is strong enough to support 4k, a good VPN allows for it. I put a link to NordVPN in the description of the video
For those on basic, something I noticed is speed is throttled on 5G, at the same spot when i do speed test with 5G on and 5G off(only LTE) speed difference is huge, 35Mbps on 5G vs 135Mbps on LTE. Turning off saves your phone battery as well. Give it a try
The hotspot on these prepaid plans is the most important thing to me because I am in a hurricane zone and we are always out of power during the storms, and when it happens, I have to rely on a hotspot for days and sometimes weeks and it needs to be able to get lots of data and be reliable.
I have visible+. The online map has me in the middle of a 5g and 5g uw area. My visible purchased phone never gets 5g. Chatted with customer service. They verified i was in a 5g zone at the beginning. When they couldn't fix, they claimed NO 5g in area
Thanks for sharing this information. It might be me, but it appears that the Visible (standard) plan had faster upload speeds compared to download speeds. Might you have any additional information on this in your testing?
I ended up getting the plus because of the watch is included. If you pay the 10 dollars monthly extra for the cheaper plan it’s comes out to the 395 annually plan anyways. So far well worth it.
Just switched from straight talk I couldn’t even get the slowest speeds and I never used service unless I was in a car once a week speed test was over 100 went down to 1-2 couldn’t even use the phone.
You can’t talk live with a representative so that sucks. Try to text back and forth with a computer and you will go back to mint or somewhere else with live operators
Got Visible basic for $15 guaranteed for 5 years on a promo. Have had Visible before and it’s location, location, location just like the other companies.
@@peetymcfly8871 yes if you ported a number from T Mobile and I had an extra T Mobile DIGITS number so I used that to port. Went smooth and that’s good cause Visible is not known for customer service. Keep an I out for other promotions.
Tried Visible plus back in June and compared it to my T-Mobile service here in the LA area. T-Mobile ultra capacity network is on average more faster on download and upload speed compared to Verizon ultra wideband network which you can’t take advantage of everywhere. With T-Mobile it seemed I was always on 5G while was visible half the time I was still on LTE even though in the iPhone settings I had it said to use 5G. I also noticed I had more connection issues With Visible compared to T-Mobile. Not sure if that is an MVNO thing. I’m on a family plan and for now T-Mobile is the way to go. Especially since in my house I get full service and with Verizon I’m lucky if I get two bars. I also took a road trip and it always seemed I had better service with T-Mobile than with Visible/Verizon.
You did not cover sending MMS videos to other iphones on Visible. Visible reduces the video quality of MMS videos to horrible levels! They are barely viewable and there are video size limitations where the videos will not even send!

Took your advice and left Verizon prepaid and switched to Visible plus and absolutely love it! Thanks again ✊🏽
I'm glad I could have helped and that it's working out well! Appreciate your comment!
The service goes downhill fast, everything was okay at the beginning for many as well, it gets bad
@@timweb1510 I agree I’m going bad to Verizon prepaid asap!

@@timweb1510that’s not been my experience. It’s just as good as my previous verzion postpaid phone.
Stetson Doggett posted a video not long ago talking about how you can use a VPN to get full resolution video streaming on any cellular connection

We have both plans. We also bought a pair of Motorola One 5g UW phones (unlocked used). I watched this in 1080p on my computer using my phone hotspot.
For the purpose of what a phone is actually for. Listen for $35 when I barely use my phone. Visible is my man and imma stick beside em 😫😭
Ultra wideband includes both mmwave n260,n261and c band n77 midband.
Great info! Thanks!

Yeah the watch being included was a huge perk. All the extra benefits included. Winning!
This answered a lot of my questions. Thank you so much!!
Welcome!
Talk about their new annual plans
What is 5GUltra Wideband? This coverage is only available in Atlanta.
Ultra Wideband is available across the country. The 5g offers less latency and faster speeds than normal 5g often referred to as midband of c-band
@@evertonsway thanks so it shouldn’t be a problem if I switch to this then
I have basic with nord vpn and I stream in 4k no issues
Love it!
Do you think its worth switching to Visible if I'm on T-Mobile with 3 lines and an apple watch line
what are you currently paying?
Definitely! I’ve been using Visible since they first started. Back when nobody knew who they were.
If Verizon is good in your area definitely switch 😊
Visible works well for me in metro NY with 1 line. I had a backup line with them without issue and a child line also no issues.
But, when chatting with the customer service they said they do not have a family plan, you would have to open 3 accounts,

Pretty sure I'm talking to a live op right now. Just took a while through the menu to get to them
Do you have to have wifi to use it
No you don't. It's a normal cellular service

I haven’t experienced that. I’m sorry that happened to you. Visible supports RCS and it’s been good for larger file size and full size photos.
visible has a promo now $10 off 3 months
Yess!!! Code: MOOLAH
wierd not alot of people know and its not really on their site
do you use visible as your main line
I do! I used to use Mint but I need the priority data now as my city got a lot more popular
is it reliable idk i have tmobile and data is fast and have promos scared to leave i tried visible data was ok
No more unlimited hotspot
It is unlimited, just throttled.
Great vid
Thank you! I appreciate that!
