i was watching the Yamaha yz 125 2013 test ride and seen ur comment if the 125 would work for a biger person... put it this way i have a 18 year old cr125 and im around 195 and i keep up with the new 250fs if not beat them.. if u get a 125 that has not been beat on and a pos..and is set up right and running good... it would work great and they are cheap.. most 2 stokes are cheap till u get into like 500 cc and up... just put it this way my dune quad is a raptor 700 and its like 350 bucks just for a piston and rings.. for that 350 bucks i could rebuild the hole motor

Good to know. This is my uncle's 230F and I like it, but can't afford it. I've found good 1990-2000 yz125's for $500-1000 which is in my price range. I was just worried it wasn't gonna be as big of a step up from the CRF100 as I wanted it to be. I love two strokes because they are easy to work on and generally parts are cheap.
