I was riding really tense and ended up on the ground a lot early in the day on this ride. I started to loosen up in the later part of the day, but damn I fell a lot in the period of about 1 hour. Motoshaman

My first ride since shoulder dislocation. I rode John's 450x so he could check out the KX 250. Motoshaman

Time for a new chain since mine was way out of spec. While I was at it I went for a -1 tooth on the front sprocket and a 1 on the rear sprocket. I also converted from the bulky 530 chain to a 520. New parts include a JT sprockets steel front sprocket, Vortex steel rear sprocket, and a Bikemaster O-ring chain all bought off of bikebandit.com. Motoshaman

Update 12/18/2013: The problem with the jerkiness in the throttle was actually mostly a result of a badly stretched chain. Once it was replaced the issue went away for the most part.
