Just bought this as my first kayak ever about a month ago. I heard a ton of complaints about the seat, but I go out for 3-4 hours and don’t even notice it, so it’s not an issue for me. I only bring a box and a couple poles and find it very stable. I have yet to experience the wet ass I always hear about.
Really nice video man I subscribed and I will be buying that kayak very soon I was already looking at it and this video has sold me on on it thanks man !!
I have the sentinel angler with adjustable foot pegs and a high back seat. I love it. I just put a thick yoga mat on the bottom and i can fish for 3 hours
Literally every major sit on top kayak company makes theirs with scupper holes. If water just comes up through yours then there is something wrong with your kayak or you're morbidly obese. This sounds like a you problem.
I think pelican gets a bad rap because they aren't one solid molded piece. I've fished out of a pelican challenger and the sit in bounty for years. I'm 6'2 230 lbs, and never felt too big for them. They won't win any races, and you can't stand up but who cares. I think the whole standing in a kayak and fishing is baloney anyway.
My pelican has gone by many names the past few years, I don't know if it's who you by it from or what. I bought mine from REI and it was called a mist XP 100. I found it to be very tippy and unstable and got some outriggers. Maybe I can use it without going overboard and catch some fish.
Got this kayak for $50 at my local walmart, first kayak ever and used it to hoop for lobsters here in socal. Very nice first kayak
This is a great kayak even for experienced Yakers. Everything you need and lightweight
@@JasonLee-t3b agreed 👍

Glad it helped Antonio. Thanks for watching and subscribing!
Lots of complaints with this style seat but I find mine comfortable, wet ass is the only issue. Easy to carry and haul and nice on the water.
Totally agree.

I was gonna suggest a stadium cushion. Can get em for like 8 bucks
The holes in the kayak for the water to drain a joke.Water just comes up

Your paddle goes into the orange line on the side of you strap it under.
😂 has water shoes on, doesn’t want to get wet and push off with the oar 😂
Watched the whole video just now, good job
Lookin' good!!! Fish for a bonus!!!
Я тоже, 7:57 на таком плаваю за рыбой😊🎉
I'm a novice fisherman looking to buy this as my first kayak. Anything else I should buy? Recommendations on paddles, life vest etc?
@@JDrizz34 I used the bass pro life vest from Cabelas. My paddle came from Walmart. Anything works. It's a great kayak for a beginner.
Which lake is this?
Grabbed da yak
