@@DeborahJones-h6e parts ofNC are Tiny House friendly. Like anywhere, you'll have to check the rules of the County and City/town you're interested in, as they each have their own. Rural areas tend to be more accepting, with less restrictions.

Check out Simplify Further Tiny Homes (Butler, Fl. Just north of Gainsville) and Tiny House Builders (owners of Tiny House Listings, located in Wilmington NC). They both offer no loft plans.
