Why didn't they bring both the man and the woman caught in adultery?

@Sarah Collins I think my question is to the hypocrisy. Men get a pass, but the woman must be stoned. While in the law it is written that both the man and the woman be stoned. Yes the entrapment motive, and that the woman was also entrapped. Very possibly by someone in authority over her, which would make his sin even greater. That Jesus foiled all of it is amazing.
