In general, they don't have a rust issue , it mostly comes down to Countries that pour on raw salt on roads during winter months to keep ice away , that's what destroy them. haveing own 18 year old suzuki jimnys with zero rust , thank goodness here in New Zealand ,we don't use Corrosive products to combat ice, just keep under body clean and spray on fish oil.
