Thanks for the effort of facing up to the weather, Colin. There's little upon which to comment, other than progress continues. I hope you get a decent window of opportunity in the weather later this week. Come on, England!
The weather scuppered any chance of a good close look around which was the original plan. It’s only now looking at it on a bigger screen now I realise how hard it was actually raining 🌧️
@DuncTheBlue1878 Yeah I'd say Blue as well, or Maybe the ones what you can change the colour of them for different occasions. Either way It's going to look amazing lit up at night 👌🏻
Yep looks like front half railed seating & back half ordinary seats. I did wonder whether they had changed their minds and that's why they'd removed them but clearly not.
They’re air exhaust vents and their size, shape and number is dictated by the extraction vents under the barrel cladding. I agree, looks odd on the east side, should be two sets of 4 and all the same size.
A lot of Stadiums now have 2 x layers of advertising boards, one a couple of metres in front of the other, am i correct in saying that there will only be one layer at the Everton Stadium @Colin or @DavidB ?
Yes only one, the Etihad is the most obvious one with 2 rows of boards and they lost 2 or 3 rows of seats to achieve that, Wolves is different in the fact they had the space to fit 2 in. It would defeat the whole point of BMD being intimidating for away players by having the crowd right on the edge of the pitch if they then make extra space for extra advertising boards
thanks for the update CP, but im fascinated by the water channel & the pitch irrigation they are constructing so many thanks for showing us how its going on along with all the other detail.
Cheers Colin.
Out battling the elements early on a Sunday morning.
That's dedication.
Thank you 💙

Thanks for your efforts despite the crap weather! Always appreciate your videos 😊
Cheers Colin. Sunday wet morning. That’s dedication!
In true droning style it started raining just as I turned up 🤣🤣
Thanks for getting the drone up mate.
I wonder if they'll be going for Blue or White lighting under the barrel cladding & South Stand. Or a mixture of both?
I assume blue

Hopefully colour programmable for all occasions. Lookin smart now isn't it.
At 1:28 you can see the rain dripping down from the barrel cladding and forming large puddles underneath
Great as usual, as for rail seating, this is only being installed in the lower south (home) section of the ground.
Rail seating also in the away end - north east corner lower tier

@@JayEFC1969 Looked as though they were installing rail seating and then they cleared the upper part, only to install normal seats. Strange.
@@DuncTheBlue1878 don't think there was any rail seating at rear - I looked back and couldn't see any on previous vids.
@@JayEFC1969 No idea why they cleared those seats then
Why are the diamond cutouts on the east stand all over the place as the ones in the west stand are pretty much uniform in position.

Is the larger diameter pipe on the pich gonna be the undersoil heating??

Makes sense Colin
