- de Blob 1 and 2 were two of my favorite games on the Wii, and I've been wanting to revisit them for a few years now. They're both such great games that are full of personality, and I don't see them talked about nearly enough. I've been listening to the soundtrack of these games for the past two weeks and I'm still not sick of it.

Very much appreciating the De Blob recognition. It was one of the many Wii games I desperately wished I was able to buy it when I was a kid
As a dutchman it's so fun they still used the title de blob instead of the blob
There is also de blob in Eindhoven which is just some random building with a weird design.
The youtube algortithm has blessed me. Just yesterday i had picked up both de blob and de blob 2. I have only known the name of the series and a breif overview so having this video give me a bigger insight going in is pretty cool.
Fiiiiiiinally! Barely anyone talks about this game. It’s a weirdly satisfying game, especially if are a completionist. It’s also obviously full of heart. Great vid
The fact that every level track in the soundtrack also changing depending how much you have painted plus in the original changing if you were inked or not is fantastic, making each track have 3-6 different variants! When you take onto account that your paint color adding instruments, it makes the soundtrack often unique from one playthrough to another!
YES to the Ratatouille mention 🙌 I will stand by that game until I die
Man I really miss the de Blob franchise so bad I really wish the Blue Tongue Entertainment comes back from the dead and announced de Blob 3 tho...
Absolutely love this Franchise, I am currently doing the second game on my channel, and I gotta say, I love it, I did have the First de Blob on my Xbox one but havent played it yet, since Im new to this series last year, but yeah hopefully someday their mightt be a De blob 3, hope so.

De blob was pretty odd but yet fun.
This game reminds me of a thing I used to do when I played the color by number pixel art game on android, I pretended like the thing I was painting was "unfreezing" and if it was "alive" it would talk like thanking for unfreezing them. It's really satisfying to be honest, I just like completing things as a sense of achievement.

Good video. Have never played or even heard about these games but your nostalgia for them really came through. The soundtrack sounds really good from what I’ve heard in this video so I’ll definitely check it out! Thanks for the video

Man, as someone that was a Wii kid, I feel pretty bummed out that I never played any games from this series. I would've loved them so damn much... hopefully I'll be able to get them at some point!
They are on the Switch eshop. So maybe get them while they are on a sale

both titles are on Steam, though I’d recommend looking into getting a fan patch for the second one to fix a really bad audio bug

I Absolutely ❤ this game.
I don't even play both games that much, but i keep coming back to both every now and then.
I Really hope this game might get a source port in the future for easier access or even porting to other platforms like the 3DS or PSVita.

I had a lot of fun with de blob 2 on the DS, very underrated and can't recommend enough if you want something fun but not too challenging on the go!
It's also giving frutiger metro which is definitely amazing
Speaking of nostalgia. Have you seen the fangame wuhu island explorer? It's an open world game in which you can move freely around wuhu island. Very cool.

I've only played the first level of the DS version for this video, but I'm guessing I'll enjoy it since it seems similar to the 2D sections of the second game. And the game at the beginning is Jett Rocket, a WiiWare game!

as much as i dislike certain things about ubisoft and EA, they take more chances on unique ideas than other media companies in other industries. Though, that has changed for the worst a bit recently...
Why i think that splatoon took idea from this game like i think splatoon rip off this game
